"A month after my order was placed, it was canceled, saying that the supplier could not fill the order. I had checked every few days, and the item always showed that it was in stock and would ship in 24 hours. I called them before my order was canceled, and the rep told me that it was indeed in stock, and that management was aware of the problem and not to worry. When my order was eventually canceled (with the web site still showing it as in stock) I was told that the supplier was unable to fill my order because it was out of stock. Their customer service is completely unable to answer the simple question of how it can be both in stock and out of stock at the same time, always claiming that it's the supplier and that there is nothing to be done. All in all, they had my money for a month and wasted way too much of my time with these games."

"This store uses deceptive business practices and offers coupons that they do not intend on honoring. Using a coupon off a banner on their OWN web site, I received $10 off my purchase of $10 or more. I only put in 1 order per the rules of the coupon. They kept sending me delay emails with an option of "getting credit back", and finally canceled my order because they simply had no intent on honoring their coupon. This same item that is "out of stock" aka the item that they don't want to ship to me, says in their store that it is in-stock and will ship in 24 hours. So either their inventory management system is terrible, or they are making offers they have no intent on fulfilling. Either way you can be sure that I will never do business again, and would urge others to do so as well."

"I bought some screen protectors here for $5, they're usually $7+, so they're the cheapest I ever found. Some faults was that the email they sent me stated to give the postal office 24 hours to get the tracking number to work, but it didn't work until 4+ days. The item all in all took about 7 days to ship. The packaging could have been better. I ordered screen protectors, so it's bendable and they only packaged it in one layer of bubble wrap and paper, I was a bit afraid when I saw the package bent in my mail box, but when I opened it, everything was fine the screen protectors weren't bent at all. Although they kind of lie about times. When I contacted them about the tracking thing, the automated email stated i would get a reply within 48-72 hours, but I didn't receive a reply until probably around 5-6 days, after I received my order. All in all, the MTV shop is okay."

"MTV.com puts up a $10 off $10 order coupon right ON THEIR SITE! We order and they cancel all the orders. What a scam. I think it was just a way to get people to their sorry site and harvest email addresses so they can send out spam.

"I actually placed two orders with MTV for The Hustler and The Color of Money DVDs. They had a $10 coupon code for $10 off your order through PayPal and $10 the next time, clearly marked in an ad on the top of their site.

The Hustle came out to $6.45 and The Color of Money became free. They were placed on two separate orders, one after the other, both with my PayPal account, just as the site listed. I received confirmation on both orders same day, and yesterday I received cancellation orders for both with no reason.

I sent an e-mail requesting a reason for cancellation and received a "We'll get back to you." e-mail in response. "
