"They provides worst services. I am not satisfied. "
"Double EDIT: These guys will report you to other online retailers if you choose to ask for a refund due to an issue caused by them. This risk is not worth shopping with them.
EDIT: After discussing with a supervisor and reading other reviews, I now believe this was an honest mistake. But I am still leaving the rating the same due to failure to produce any reasonable compensation for the time and energy wasted.
I purchased a Think 3D knit V2 chair on their website for $500. What I had shipped to me was a V1, non mesh, poor condition chair that most resellers would price at $200. The funny thing is that they don't even sell this chair on their website. So how did this end up being shipped to me? This was either an honest mistake or a bait and switch scam. If it was an honest mistake, then customer service would have offered some level of compensation for the incredible waste of time, but instead they offered for me to buy the chair that I never asked for at $200 or return it for a full refund. Obviously I'm going to return for a full refund, but now I'm 1 month into it and several email and research worth of time and no chair. "
"The chair arrived and looks brand new, It was packaged well with attention to detail. Easy to assemble even without instructions. Any repair work done wasn't obvious.
I was concerned with this order as it was the second time I'd tried to purchase a Herman Miller chair online. The other company was on the West Coast (same as me) and since prices were the same, I ordered it out of California. It was a disaster. When it arrived, it was in pieces (mechanism beneath the seat) and the chair wouldn't work. I took pictures and sent it to the company and finally after a couple of weeks I received a return shipping label.
So, when my chair arrived from Madison Seating I was concerned it'd be the same experience. But the chair was in perfect condition. Restoring my faith in on-line shopping.. Thank you, Madison Seating, for being an honorable and honest company. I will happily recommend using this company if you're in the market! Good product selection and great prices for the perfect chair.
It did take two weeks from order to receiving, but coming cross-country, I was expecting it to take that long.

"Delivery took longer than one month so I contacted the company and they shipped a chair shortly thereafter. Unfortunately, the chair did not function properly and needed to be replaced. They sent a replacement part, but it was not that straightforward to repair. There was a significant amount of confusion between customer service reps along the way, but a very helpful customer service supervisor made it right and ended up sending a replacement chair free of charge.

"I recently ordered an Allsteel A19 chair from Madison Seating. Unfortunately, it was damaged upon arrival. I was fully expecting to have to have some sort of disagreement about fault with the company. However, when I relayed what happened to them, they sent out a replacement chair right away. I was floored by the response and was very satisfied with the outcome, needless to say. I had purchased another Allsteel A19 chair from them in the past, and there was no problem with that purchase whatsoever. Now I know they have the best prices and the best customer service!"
"Chair not as expected, hopefully their return policy is good like they say."
"Received my Aeron chair on time and delivered as instructed.
Had two (2) little scuffs on the frame - not a big deal, as this was Open Box - don't think anyone else would notice.
Great value
Installation was a breeze, as Customer Service advised.
Love the Sapphire Blue color.
Couldn't be more pleased. Just wish I had bought my first Aeron chair from them!"
"I'm in the contract office industry, have been for 15+ years. Being a Haworth dealer Madison Seating was my go to for the Aeron Chairs. I recently purchase a batch for a client in Greenwich CT. Brand new build out. Gorgeous space. Chairs came in with defective casters and put black marks all over the clients carpet. I spoke to Madison Seating about replacement casters and was told, "you should buy the upgraded casters". Customer Service, the Supervisor, and the salesperson ALL told me that the Herman Miller Standard Casters are not meant to go on carpet. So i called Herman Miller. Like all chairs, the standard casters ARE meant to go on Carpet. The woman i spoke to at Madison Seating was very negative and as the conversation continued, raised her voice to me in anger. She couldn't be bothered with my objection to the defective casters. Very unprofessional. I figured this would be a simple claim against the warranty. Ends up i have to PAY for replacement casters. I have to pay for my warranty parts. Terrible. Madison Seating does not stand behind their products nor do they stand behind their warranty. To add insult to injury after Madison Seating saw that i gave them a negative review i received the following email.....

So at the end of the day in order for me to get casters replaced on the Madison Seating Warranty i have to pay for the parts, and have to ship the product BACK to Madison Seating on my dime.
Fifteen years in the contract office furniture industry i have never had a transaction like this. Any savings you get from purchasing an "Open Box" Aeron Chair from Madison Seating is not worth the trouble of dealing with their after sales assistance and certainly not worth the risk of damaging your flooring. BUYER BEWARE.

"This company advertises a 100% hassle free warranty & from my experience with them, the opposite was true.
Please ask up front with them what they will or will not do if you have a return!
Bad experience!"
"The supposed-to-be an open box aeron chair I got had coffee stain everywhere and was worn out from heavy use. When sent photos of the chair, I was told that it is in their "open-box" condition.
When asked about returning the chair, I was told that they do not "advertise" that return is free. On top, they wanted to charge another $50 for restocking fee.
Use craigslist and buy an used aeron where you can see it with your own eyes. The price will be cheaper and it will be in a better condition."
"I am an online shopper, I buy everything I need online and never once have I came across an online store that has this poor of service.
I placed my order 4 weeks ago and still I have not received my order."
"It’s no wonder Madison Seating are getting such bad reviews in a lot of rating websites. I wish I had done some research before buying from them. Now I know and will never again buy or encourage anyone to buy from them.
When I pay $650 for a chair, I expect a lot more from the seller. But ultimately, even if the delivery is late and the service is terrible, at least I would expect them to honor their “satisfaction guarantee” which is supposed to provide free return shipping if for any reason you are not happy with your purchase. They continuously refused to honor it and pay for the return shipping and every time we talked, they became more and more aggressive. After several days of arguing back and forth, they ended up saying that “now it’s too late and you are out of your 30-day window to return your purchase”
Shameful and embarrassing is how I would rate their overall service and especially their return policy and ability (or willingness) to honor their own guarantee."
"Ordered a Steelcase Leap V2 chair Nov. 18, 2016, it shipped Nov. 23, and I received it Nov 29 via FedEx Ground. I got one with lumbar support ($24. extra) and standard cloth fabric ("coal", a basic dark gray) with standard casters. Mine included the adjustable arms (these chairs can be found without arms from some vendors). No headrest (this was not an option at time of my order.) My cost including shipping was $478. I had called their sales department while researching and was told Madison Seating's chairs may be "open box, refurbished, or like new returns" or something to that effect. I had some concerns about buying this chair for half of what a "brand new" Leap V2 chair sells for on Amazon or elsewhere (like $950. or much more). But the one I received looks new with no blemish at all, even has a sort of factory-glue smell you associate with "new". All chair adjustments work perfectly. The chair arrived completely assembled (despite enclosed instructions that talk about installing the piston between the wheels and the seat bottom), sealed in a plastic bag, inside a very large box (with no box damage, thanks FedEx Ground!) The box was packed full around the chair with the equivalent of a large roll of bubblewrap (enough to supply my small business for a couple months, bonus!) The only "downer" in this transaction was seeing the price reduced on their website by about $25. a day or two after I ordered. I contacted customer support and was told this was a "glitch" that had been corrected...then I saw the price went UP about $25. from what I paid! So, your price may vary, it may pay to watch it over time if you are not in a hurry. These guys also sell on Amazon and eBay, I think I saw lower prices for "basic black" versions of these chairs elsewhere but I had to have dark gray..."
"All in all everything went well. Delivery was delayed but e-mail response was quick. After delivery there was a small issue which they rectified very promptly. Because the customer service was good, they were very professional and accommodating, the chair was FANTASTIC and the price was way lower than anywhere else they earn 5 stars."
"I was skeptical about the amazing low prices for two Aeron side chairs. Evert part of the transaction went perfectly. Brand new product, sealed in factory packaging, with prompt fast shipment.
Sure the Herman Miller is upset that their otherwise "fair traded" products are being sold at deep discount. But they are fighting the wrong company in Madison Seating. The companies that sell Madison are the problem for Herman Miller and they have found an outlet.
Consumers like me vote with their dollars. I have spoken. Now hear this Herman Miller. Consumers love madison Seating !
