"If I could give this company zero stars I would. Do not buy from this company. It is a scam at best. It clearly states on their website that they will not charge your card until they provide you with shipping information. I ordered a chair 10/29/21 and my card was charged on 11/2/21 and I was not provided with any shipping information. I contacted the company via email and had a back and forth conversation with Sana and the answer to when I would receive shipping information was changed twice in this conversation. So I decided to do the smart thing and cancelled my order. My boyfriend also cancelled his order at the same time on 11/11/21 and he received a refund notification whereas I did not. I called my credit card company and let them know what was going on and my credit card company suggested I do a charge back. TWO WEEKS LATER I receive an email (on Thanksgiving no less) with a quite threatening email demanding I return the money that was refunded to me and that I had now received two refunds. My bank account did not reflect this until TWO DAYS LATER, so, since I used to download credit card reports and call credit card companies when people used to try and scam my company out of services, I suggested that Maddison Seating contact my credit card company, as I know company to company they can resolve this. I received an email reply back threatening me with legal action if I did not call my credit card company myself. Now this sh*tstain of a company can have a grand ole time waiting their up to 30 days for their return all because their “billing” or “chargeback department” didn’t check their credit card reports before issuing me a refund. This was not my fault, or my credit card companies fault. Maddison Seating has a poor reputation and that reputation has proven itself with this interaction. I will be contacting the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission, and the New York State Attorney General about their scammy business practices. Do not buy from this company. "
"Terrible company to work with. I ordered a remanufactured Leap chair and with all the hidden charges I might has bought a new one. 2 months after I received it the cylinder would randomnly trigger. I thought it might have a whole in it but as I found out later it can also be because if the cylinder was installed improperly you can accidentally trigger it. I have ordered leap chairs before direct from steelcase. They usually comes 100% assembled. Madison sends them to you in three parts. The base + cylinder + seat. I may have installed it wrong causing the above problem. Madison had me send the chair back to them. I asked for a suggestion on how to send a bulky item like that thinking it was going to be expensive. I did not get much of answer. So I go to UPS. Was charged $280. Didn't like that but I got the chair so I'm kind of stuck. Madison also charged me for the return trip $75. That really **** me off because they could have told me they would be charging me for a return trip and they could have helped me make that more affordable but did not. Steelcase's policy on this is Steelcase pays for all shipping for up to 12 years. So I paid $400 for the chair + $280 to send in for repair and $75 to get it back from repair. "

"I purchased an ergonomic office chair from Madison Seating because my significant other bought on last year from the same seller and absolutely loves it. The turn around time from purchasing and receiving my order was exactly two days - which was significantly earlier than I was expecting which was super cool! Once the chair arrived, I found that the leveler to adjust the height didn't work so I reached out to customer service and received a reply the same day. They asked that I send a video depicting the problem and upon analyzing the issue, they offered to send me a brand new chair - I was super impressed by their quick service and appreciate their willingness to listen to their customers needs!

"I ordered a chair on August 30th, thinking that I would receive it sometime in the next week or two. No confirmation email. Then, I got a response stating that it would be send in late September. On Oct 5th, I disputed the charge, and the chair arrived that day, so I immediately contacted my credit card to cancel the dispute that day. I also received email confirmation of shipping a week after it actually shipped, 2 days AFTER I received it.
I received an ugly email and call the next Sunday calling me a thief, possessing stolen merchandise, and threatening to call the authorities. Didn't want to listen to any facts. NEVER do business with this company. "
"My experience has been 50/50. Unfortunately, it took me about a month to receive the chair I ordered and I only found out the inventory issue after reaching out to the customer service. It would have been nice to know this as I was selecting my chair. Unfortunately, the chair I received had ergonomic/functionality issues and some major cosmetic defects. However, overall I’ll give a four star because their customer service team is awesome and they really help you with flexibility! If I was more looped into my purchase process and received the chair, it would have been better! Thanks, customer service team."
"I recently bought a SteelCase think chair. The description of the chair says that the castors are compatable with carpets. They are not, as they cause the piston of the chair to drag on the carpet and bottom out. I reached out to there service department and their response was, "To bad, you can buy new wheels on ebay or amazon"

"This was my second chair order with Madison Seating. As a Safety Specialist, I use Madison Seating when ordering ergonomic office chairs at reasonable prices. Two in a half weeks ago, we purchased three ergonomic chairs, and one of was delivered with a cracked seat pan and missing seat pan lever. I reached out to Madison Seating and sent photos of the missing lever and broken part. They responded right away and offered to replace the product right away. The company not only has an excellent selection of office chairs but their customer service is excellent. Emailing the company regarding the status of the order was easy for me and didn't have to play phone tag with them. Their responses were always prompt. They will also go the extra mile to check the product before it ships out to make sure it wasn't damaged prior to delivery. Due to the easy to access customer service options and product selection, we will continue to use this company for ergonomic office chairs. "

"I had a new chair, a V2 Leap, for less than 2 months when the 'leather' on the seat started to come apart. Needless to say I was pretty disappointed to have an issue like that, especially after such a short amount of time. I contacted Madison Seating and they were very fast to respond to my problem (I missed their first response, it went to my spam folder). Long story short, after they saw pictures of the issue, they offered to send me a brand new chair, no cost, and keep the old one. That's definitely better service than I expected and I'm happy with the customer service experience. Hopefully the 2nd chair is going to prove much more durable!"

While the wait for the chair was a little longer than I expected, Madison Seating was very responsive to me throughout the process. Further, when the chair I received had an issue with the arm, rather than going through the trouble of returning the chair, they offered me a new one.
