My wife has been suffering from back pain after a recent car accident and the chair at our home office wasn't cutting it. So we decided to order thr same chair she uses at work as that one worked very well for her.
The order arrived in a timely fashion however upon opening the box (which had apparent damage) we discovered the rear frame of the chair snapped and made the chair unusable.
Reluctantly, I reached out to customer service and after denying their first offer of partial reimbursement, they offered to ship her a new one at zero cost to me and I do t have to pay to send the damaged one back which would be a debacle!
So as I mentioned before, Madison Seating saved the day and I will be buying from them again as I know I am in good hands!"

"Awful experience. Not only did they never send me a chair, they actually threatened me.
I bought a chair online from Madison seating on 11/24. Now, in March, after months of delay, they simply cancelled my order when I asked about if/when it was coming, and requested that they should give me some reimbursement for the excessive delays. When I expressed my displeasure with their customer service experience, they informed me:

"Do not expect a positive experience from Madison Seating.
1. Their website indicated 10-14 business day lead time, however it actually took nearly 3 months. I was given 3 lead time updates along the way, all of which were woefully inaccurate. In the end, they sent me a chair different than the one I ordered.
2. The chair, listed as "Highly Adjustable," did not include all of the adjustment features pictured on the website.
3. During the course of the nearly 3 months I waited for my chair, they reduced the price of the chair listed on their website, however they refused to honor their own lower price and charged me the higher price.
4. Their "Money Back Guarantee" is a joke that will cost you significant $$ if you try to return your item.
5. Their customer service was quick to respond to emails, however the information provided was not helpful and was some combination of ill-informed and misleading.

I went with the HOWARTH ZODY OFFICE CHAIR, it was clearly easy to put together as most of the chair was already assembled. This chair is great , i'm at my desk 10 hours a day and i can already feel the relief in my back and spine.

"I ordered a leap chair from Madison through eBay. The chair arrived with broken lower back support. Upon discussing the issue with the customer support, they offered a discount on existing chair, or a new chair replacement and asked for a review. I opted for the latter and the new chair arrived in a week. The new chair doesn't have any issues, and I am happy with the support they provided. "
"Ordered a Steelcase Leap chair from Madisonseating. The chair arrived with damages on the backrest, armrest covers, and faulty lowerback firmness support. I talked with Customer Support from Madisonseating, and they responded really quickly through email! They offered me multiple options such as 60% credit back and allowing to keep the chair. I told them I wanted to exchange the chair for a new one and return the old one. Then they finally considered for me to keep the chair I currently have in possession and can receive a new chair free of charge! Hopefully I will receive the chair. "
"I purchased a desk chair from Madison Seating which arrived missing a screw and the back cushion slightly unattached. After contacting the customer service department in hopes of the opportunity to send back the chair for repair or exchange, I was shocked to find out that they would be sending me a brand new chair *without* even asking for the old one back! Needless to say, I am very grateful for such amazing customer service as it both eliminated the hassle of packing up such a large item AND provided us with an extra mostly functioning chair that we can try to fix ourselves. I ordered herman miller aeron chair on DEC 17th. I was hoping that the order would be placed and they will start shipping. I expected shipping delays because of christmas. But was still hoping that they at least shipped it by now. Seeing no status update or any updates to the order tracking I got alarmed. So Jan 4th I tried to contact them. Basically there is not a person you can get on the phone no matter how hard you try. I resorted to emailing them. They replied back to the order status with the following email

We have had some delays due to the Corona Virus outbreak, as our website indicates.
We hope you and your family are staying safe during this crisis.
This order is scheduled to be shipped out by Mid/Late January. Tracking will be emailed once released.
PLEASE NOTE: Shipments may be released sooner than the anticipated release estimate. Unless the order is canceled, all orders will automatically be released when available.
You will only be charged for the transaction prior to its release.

Note that there is not even an acknowledgment that they have actually accepted the order and will ship once the supply is available. At this point they reserved all the right to cancel the order (your order is not even confirmed). So you have to wait a month and a half before even knowing you have a confirmed order or whether they even will accept your order. I would never shop with them, knowing that it will be easily 2 months before they even confirm your order. Save your time and money with merhcants that provide better customer service. "
"I purchased a really great chair at an extremely competitive price. Unfortunately, the chair was damaged in transit. MS responded very quickly and will be replacing the chair for me without any hassle, which I appreciate!"
"If you want a great deal on a quality chair, Madison Seating is a go to. The only tradeoff is lack of instant gratification but you will pay a great premium for that. My purchase involved a customer service requirement as the first shipment arrived totally destroyed by the freight carrier. This is no fault of Madison Seating but required me engage the service side of Madison for help. They were responsive with email and I found their email correspondence to be all business with even a touch of humor (risky with email). Not sure that some wouldn't find it off-putting, but I found it knee slapping hilarious. My replacement chair arrived today - Perfect! I have no problem strongly recommending Madison Seating."
