"Steer clear and be advised that just because they say they have something in stock they may not. I purchased a canon flash that showed as in stock. Within an hour of placing the order I got a call saying there was a problem with the order and they wanted to switch me to something else. After a bunch of questions they said there was a "slight back order" but that it would still be in in time for Chirstmas. I checked every two days and sent emails, all ways the same answer... no problem, we are expediteing orders you WILL have it in time for the holiday. I called on 12/20 to get an update and was told that they recieved the order damanged from Canon and asked if I wanted something else. Not a reputable vendor, steer clear and spend your money elsewhere."

"Very ANGRY!!! I don't usually fall for these types of scams because I educate myself on the products I buy. Unfortunately I almost got scammed because my Canon 430ex II flash was "out of stock" and backordered an outrageous 4 weeks... which after calling Canon to verify this they are sure not on backorder instead they have plenty in stock and willing to sell me one. When the "switcher" called me he insisted I follow their website to read about the so called better Vivitar flash using their internal sku and sure enough with marked higher than most retailers, I insisted that he provide me the make and model/ or email me the details before I commit and he pretended not to hear me and urged that I go to their website... Being highly distracted at the time I said sure... BIG EFFING MISTAKE. I made a huge deal when I called them today and they allegedly will make a refund when i return the package to them. We'll see about that"

Received a call on Sunday telling me they were back-ordered for 5 weeks but they could sell me a no name POS which was WAAAAAAAY better than the Canon. I told them I wanted the Canon flash. 6 weeks later and they are not responding to any emails. Totally unethical.

When asked "well what if we ship you the replacement at the same price"...I agreed. Sure enough, when I receive the product, the price was not the agreed to price. I was out of town so I said OK thinking I was still getting a Canon battery. I got an aftermarket brand. Classic bait and switch, I ordered a Sony Lens and they called
the next day to say it was back ordered but could get me a better lens from a different manufacturer for much cheaper. I declined. I did call Sony and they said there were no issues of any back order for that model lens and offer bulk prices to wholesalers so the whole back order excuse is a pile of crap higher than the guy who tried to scam me. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Total bait and switch scam. After ordering a Canon camcorder battery and charger I was called the next day saying that they were back-ordered. They offered me an aftermarket unit at their "discounted price of $82.98 for a Vivitar battery and a Bower charger. I didn't have time to do any price comparison research (shame on me). If I would have I could have received both items for less than half of what I paid Mellodigital.

These guys suck and hopefully will be out of business soon."

I initially accepted the higher priced alternate, but decided to cancel an hour later and was told it already shipped (which I doubt). Will see if they will give an RMA to ship it back."
