"I would like to comment on the shabby way that hello digital treats their customers. I tried to purchase a
Canon flash for my camera in early march being told over and over that they are back ordered and would be in anytime soon. I called back in early April after seeing my credit card statement showing a charge for the flash on march 26. They told me that it was to be shipped on that day but that it was damaged and they had to wait for a replacement from Canon.So I waited for 4 more weeks and then decided to cancel my order after their promise had been broken. I was told at that time that it would take 10 business days for a credit. Guess what?that was also a lie! I filed a disputed claim against them with my credit card company and after 3 more weeks and pressure from my card company they finally relented! Did I mention that I was a first and "last" time customer? -they suck don't do business with them! They're not reputable!"
"Ordered a Canon Lens and other accessories for my DSLR.
Was charged the amount on my credit card the next day. Received an email that shipment would be received in 5 to 7 business days. NEVER RECEIVED SHIPMENT. Emailed them about missing shipment 8days later. Response was "Lens was water damaged when they received it". But you have charged my card! You mean to tell me you charged my card for an item you didn't even have? Nor informed me that it was not in your stock? Nor informed me that there would be a delay in shipping? Nor informed me that you weren't shipping at all?
I cancelled the order needless to say. Was told I would get my card refunded.
As you may expect by now, 4 weeks later, NO credit back to my Credit Card. Had to call Citicard and dispute the charge.
Lesson learned. Hope this helps someone else from making a similar mistake."
"This place is a scam. DO NOT order anything from them. I ordered a flash and they kept telling me it would ship. After 12 days it did not ship and I have requested a refund and will call my credit card company and have them reverse the charge."
"Do not dare buy anything from this guy. It is a scam. I ordered a Canon 24mm f1.4 and a 50mm f1.2 lens from this website. The website said they were in stock. They charged my credit card the full amount and then did nothing. No phone call, no email, nothing. They just stole my money and then just sat on it. After repeated emails now 6 weeks after my order, they say they will give me a refund. I'll see if that happens. Complete and utter waste of time. I don't think they actually sell anything, they just charge credit cards and hope you forget or get fed up hassling them."
"This dirtballs are a scam. I ordered a canon 430II speedlite back in January 2012. On their website it was in stock but after a few minutes they called me that it's not in stock and it have to be back ordered within 3-5 weeks. I waited for over 6 weeks then all of a sudden I saw a charged on my card but they never intended to deliver my order. I called them and they gave me the run around. I demanded a refund on my card and they keep telling me to wait 7-14 business to catch up on my account. It's been 21 business days and I haven't seen a refund on my account to the present and still waiting. STAY AWAY AND DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY. THEY'RE ALL SCAMS AND DIRTBALLS MAKING ALOT OF PROMISES FROM THIER CUSTOMERS SERVICE TO BILLING DEPARTMENT."
"This is a bunch of scam artist. Please don't ever doing business with them. Price seems great, but you will never got your order, unless you listenced to the "crook" and upgrade your order to something else that you will end up pay for a lot higher price. This surely is a "bait and switch" tactic. Please check your credit card after cancel with them too. They put me throgh hell with so many phony stories about product being delayed from manufactures, shipment got damaged, back order....and in the meant time they got my money in their bank. The complete ordeal took me more than three months to resolve it. Believe me, you can get a lot better deal elsewhere and save a lot of headaches."
"These scumbags are definite bail & switch cons! I ordered a battery charger for my Nikon D200 and almost immediately got an email saying there was a "problem" with my order. When I called the toll free number I was told Nikon had this item on backorder but they could send me a "much better" quick charger for twice the price! I cancelled the order! STAY CLEAR OF THEM!"

I ordered a $700 Canon camera from them. They charged my card before shipping. Merchants are not supposed to charge your card until the item has shipped. I called to follow up on the order after the charge & was told the item hadn't arrived & they didn't know when it was coming in, but as soon as it arrived they would let me know. Over a week went by I was out $700 no merchandise. I called to cancel & got about 5 different emails saying I'd get a refund "shortly" "soon" "in the next few days" "3-4 business days" "7-10 days". Then they asked me for my banking info & credit card to process the refund b/c they were having a problem with their processor & of course I didn't give them the info. 3 weeks have gone by no refund. "
"Same thing, BATE & SWITCH. I declined there offer for a cheaper flash replacement for the Canon 430ex ii I originally had hoped to purchase. I received a phone call from them stating my order would be backed ordered about 4 to 5 weeks. I decided to cancel my credit card so they do not have it in there file. They obviously are crooks. "OMG!!! MelloDigital just pulled another bait and switch.....on me. I ordered two Lunix batteries from them online and within the hour they were on the phone calling to say the Lumix was not available but they had a replacement they could send. They claimed that the replacement would last two to three times as long per charge as the Lumix's I had ordered and said the replacements had an internal shut off system that prevented them from overheating or losing battery life if charged from a less than empty state. I trusted them, took the bait and bought the batteries even though they cost double what the Lumix batteries I ordered cost. When they arrived and I looked them up online only to find that they had a retail value of only $20 apiece, not the $50 apiece MelloDigital had charged me. Nor did these batteries have an internal shut off system. Nor did they last two to three times as long per charge as a Lumix battery. When I complained about this bait and switch technique they offered to refund me a total of $20 to make me feel "more comfortable"!!!!! I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau and challenged the overcharge with my Visa account. I only wish I had known about this ratings website before ordering from this scam prone company. Do not order from MelloDigital unless you want to be cheated and disappointed."
"Don't trust this company! We ordered a Cannon replacement battery. After our order was processed, we received a call telling us the battery we ordered was "out of stock" and they could sell a Vidpro Premium Tech PT-NB5l for the same price. After reading reviews, we agreed to the off-brand. The battery arrived today, but instead of receiving the battery we ordered we received a Bower XPDC5L instead, which retails for significantly less than we paid. Textbook bait-and-switch. Steer clear!!!!"
"What a shock that the reviewers that like this store have ONLY reviewed this store. My husband attempted to order me a cannon flash for Christmas only to be told 2 days before that it was on backorder. This was AFTER he had already been charged. They offered to sell him something else, but he refused. They said they would credit the CC, but they never did. We had to file a dispute to get the money back. STAY AWAY!"
"Poor Merchant to buy from. Their prices look good, but what good are they if you can't get the product??? Ordered a Canon flash...couple of weeks go buy...check status...Flash on backorder we can substitute with a better one...no thanks, we'll wait. One month goes by we see we are billed on credit card...cool, we're going to get the flash. Call and check status..nope still on backorder...We ask why we were billed...they don't know...We were told to dispute with credit card company to get credit. That worked and we did get credit back. We ordered from another company. It may be worth it if you call and get confirmation that the item is in stock. Just don't believe their website stock status!!"

"SCAM ALERT! READ OTHER REVIEWS, YOU'LL HEAR THIS AGAIN AND AGAIN! I ordered a Nikon flash (which the website ALWAYS says is in stock) and got a call a couple of days later saying that item was back ordered, but offering me a "much better" flash for the same price. A quick bit of research revealed that the replacement flash was, of course, a piece of junk. They didn't send ANYTHING, and LIED about emailing me a cancellation and refunding money. I disupted through my credit card company!!"
