"Tried to purchase a monitor, waited 5 days and the order was canceled on me."
"This is the second time this type of incident has happened.
After I placed the order and after they confirmed the order, when it was supposed to ship, I get an email that the item was no longer available and my card was simply refunded.
Once I placed the order and it was confirmed, the available inventory should have accounted for that item and the one that was supposed to be shipped to me should not have been sold to someone else.
This shows very poor inventory and order management and indicates to me that if I want something from Micro center and they show that they have it I need to go there and pick it up in person as they can not be trusted with delivering what they promissed."

"I ordered a monitor and a few other items. From the date of placing my order to the date they were estimated to ship was almost a week. Alright no big deal I’ll wait. 3 days before my order was set to ship I get an email saying my monitor was canceled which was the whole reason I placed the order. So I tried to call several times, spent three separate occasions each waiting 20 minutes on hold and no answer. I finally said screw it and waited on hold for ONE HOUR AND NINETEEN MINUTES before someone finally answered. This is all after I sent a text to the number suggested to me. They said they would cancel my order but absolutely would not confirm when they would actually do it. Anyway, 1 hour 19 minutes later on hold a rep answers the phone. While he was respectful and nice I just wanted to know when I’d get my almost $700 back. It’s been 5 days since my order was canceled and I still DO NOT have my money back!
I will NEVER order nor recommend anyone else order from Micro Center Web store. I’ll be sticking to places like Amazon, Best Buy and Newegg where they have a proven trustworthy system."

"In an order of 4 items, three shipped right away and arrived on time. The 4th never shipped, the status of the item was changed to "in store only." After 6 days had passed a hold was placed on my credit card for the 4th item, indicating the order was being processed. After ten days from the order date I called customer service and was told that they would contact the distribution center and have it overnighted to me the next day. Following day, still no ship notice. Called again, same feedback. The next day same thing. No ship notice, no feedback.
After two full weeks of trying to get an item shipped (the other three items arrived two business days after order, mind you) I receive an email that my order has been cancelled. No explanation, no apology, no offer of reimbursement for the two weeks I have been without a computer waiting on them to ship a component I desperately need.
