HORRIBLE SERVICE ORDERED AND GOT NOTHING NOT EVEN A

"This was horrible service and we received no whereabouts or information regarding the order. I would like a refund unless they are going to ship in the next few days. this is 6 Days after the purchase to give you an idea of how bad the communications are."

Order cancelled without telling me

"I placed an order online for a laptop. It was not supposed to ship for 5 days. On the 5th day I received an email simply stating that the order was cancelled. No other information, and no advance warning. So now I have to start all over again, but have lost a week. Really bad. Separately, I had called the Cambridge store and asked if I could pay for a computer over the phone and have someone walk it to my car since I'm at high risk for Coronavirus, and can't go in the store. They refused. Not such good customer service."

Easy purchase; impossible installation

"Renewed ESET without problem. Instructions to activate impossible for me (non-technical ) person to understand. Called to get help from Micro Center and only could get to chat room (never been in one before) and after 30- 40 minutes I was still no, 13 in line. No help at all. also called ESET and again only directed to a web page that was of no help. Terrible experience both from ESET and Micro Center. The renewal cost $69 and I ended up spending $50 to have a tech person walk me through how to activate the product. ESET should have some non technical people look at what they are doing since many of us were not raised in the tech era."

Good price slow shipping

"I ordered a 3-pack of HDMI cables. They appear to be good quality. I bought them as gifts for others and can't really speak to their quality. What I can speak to is shipping and these things took forever. It took over a week for processing and shipping which is really slow. The good thing is they arrived undamaged so I can't complain too much. Overall a good purchase."

Warning - they misrepresent their refurbished computers - original parts not used

"I recently purchased a refurbished HP computer from Micro Center. The salesman told me that refurbished units were inspected and repaired to like all new functionality with original HP components. The SSD hard rive failed in a short period of time and I contacted HP directly. They were nice enough to send me a new drive, however when I removed the defective drive I determined that an original HP drive was not installed in the unit I purchased. Since HP required me to return the defective drive, I was not in a position to do that because the original drive was not a HP product. I sent the new drive back to them and went to Micro Center to purchase a new drive. I have sent Micro Center an email several times asking them for some sort of credit for the drive I had to purchase since they misrepresented the product they sold me. They have responded a couple of times by telling me they were very busy and that my issue would be escalated to management. As of today I still have not received a response. My family and I have purchased a lot of products from them over the years, but we will not be going back unless they respond by doing the right thing.

"Website shows 2 are and were available at time of order. CC temp hold was applied on day of order - 10 days later they cancelled the order. - giving them a second try but 20 days for an available item is exceptionally long. "
