"I had a terrible experience with Microcenter. They failed to ship the product on time they listed. I had to contact several times customer service which took very long because of the long queues. They kept promising me they would ship it the next day. Finally they cancelled the order without consulting me and gave me no explanation. I will not be ordering from them again."

The explanation was PRODUCT AVAILABILITY OR AN AUTHORIZATION ISSUE WITH YOUR PAYMENT. i have shopped in person at this store for 20 years and like their product selection and friendly sales personnel. But, this was the first online order I placed in 6 years and I hope they update their online experience or I may not come back. If a product is not available when ordered, TELL ME. Don't wait a week to tell me that. If the issue was a problem with the payment, TELL ME that and don't confuse me into wondering what went wrong. A payment glitch is so far different from running out of inventory and with our modern computers and web sites, Microcenter should be able to tell the difference and let the customer know RIGHT AWAY, not a week later. "I bought a 16GB RAM SIMM chip to upgrade my Acer Aspire 5 laptop memory from 8 GB to 20 GB.
Microcenter made this an easy process to order and track the shipment for eventual delivery. I received an email confirmation of the order. I used the FedEX website to track the shipment status with the tracking number Microcenter
provided.
When the order arrived, I immediately removed the old 4 GB SIMM chip in the laptop and replaced it with the 16 GB SIMM chip.
We have liftoff! MY LAPTOP runs as smooth as butter now.
And I owe it all to Microcenter having my RAM SIMM chip in stock and delivering to my home in good condition.

I needed it sooner, like ASAP. I went through Micro Center to buy this product, and it shipped within two days, like I paid for, even though there is no physical store in my state. It was such a blessing. I started recommending buying through Micro Center to all my classmates so that they would not have to struggle with undetermined shipping dates.
