"Ordered online, waited for 3 days and never got a shipped email. Called in and waited over 30 minutes and couldn’t get through. I text them and they respond saying my order hasn’t been processed yet. I check a few times and same story. After a week which per the email I should’ve order by then I just canceled it and bought one in town locally. Huge waste of time."

"I ordered a new Arlo door bell and chime. Micro Center abruptly canceled the door bell yesterday, but still sent the chime (campion item). How I need to go to Amazon to buy the door bell. Also, your cancelation email referenced the product number (not the name) so I had no idea what had been canceled. I had to copy-paste it from the email and search on your site to figure out what had been canceled. If you are going to not deliver, you could at least not further inconvenience the customer by having more details in the cancelation message."

"Ordered product on Thursday. Estimated ship date was Tuesday. On Wednesday customer service said they had been too busy to ship but would email when they had time. Since standard shipping is 2 to 4 days (once they have the bandwidth in the warehouse to put the product in the box and label it) it's faster at this point to go to the store. The website shows six in stock. "
"I ordered 16 gb of memory upgrade (2 packages of 2 4gb boards. The shipment came with only one. I called customer service and they said they would have to put a "trace" on the order and someone would call me back. I waited a week to get the order and now have to wait again. They obviously did not pack the order correctly (missing one pack) and should have immediately shipped me the missing component. It has been about 36 hours since I placed my original customer service call and I have not heard from the company. Sorry I ever ordered from them. "
"I was really excited to get this kit is a gift. Upon opening the box and going through the items inside, I quickly realized that it was missing one very important item. INSTRUCTIONS! Looking online, I found a video from Micro Center that went through the process of building the kit. It was somewhat helpful, but there were areas of the video that used parts and items that have either changed or or no longer a part of the kit. Going through the inventory of the kit, I quickly found that it was missing an HDMI cable. Great. Continuing on and going through the video, I got to the point where you had to install the speakers and the amplifier. After opening the box that contained the speakers, I quickly realized that the speakers they included with the kit could not physically be mounted to the wood per the instructions. They simply could not be physically installed!!! After realizing this was three strikes, I contacted Micro Center about these issues. You can contact them many different ways. Calling them, emailing them and even chatting with them through their website. I chose the email method since it is the easiest for me and my availability. I expressed my concerns on all three points. Missing manuals, missing parts, and incompatible parts. The email I received simply stated they were sorry that I was having a problem, but pointed me to the haphazard video that I already found on my own. But for some reason, they refuse to address the missing parts and the incompatible parts. I responded to the email sent to me, almost immediately. Unfortunately, that is where my support from Micro Center had ended. I have not heard from them since. I find it very disappointing that a company will ship items like this without inspecting what they are shipping. The missing cable is a quick fix. They chose not to send me a missing cable, even though I gave them my purchasing information and address and so on. And as for the speakers, do they just order in things hoping they will work with their kit? Unfortunately that's what it seems like. Order in whatever, throw it in a box, and send it to paying customers. In the end, it appears that I am on my own with these issues. Missing parts and incompatible parts doesn't matter. So honestly, be careful what you order. Some things can't be returned once opened. Make sure you have everything you are supposed to have before you start building this kit. And open everything to make sure what they are sending you is compatible. There was a day when a company made sure that they sent you the correct items. It appears those days are over. The consumer must now be the one to make sure everything is going to work correctly together. So for all of these reasons, they get a one-star review. It was bad enough to have missing items and incompatible items and no instructions. But what made it even worse was being ignored by Micro Center. All I ever wanted was for them to fix their mistakes. But it seems their mistakes are now my mistakes. And my mistake was asking for this from Micro Center in the first place."
