"MidwayUSA is one of the most impudent, unfriendly and customer ignorant store I ever dealt with.
They do not bother to send you any order confirmation, nor to update you about any order issue, nor to even talk to you when you try to check what happened.
Your order may be put on hold or even cancelled but you'll never know of that and would be waiting for a while.
If you call or chat they can say you the status is "on hold" or canceled, but they refuse to send you any proof of that. If you request to change or cancel, they refuse too. Actually, they refuse to do anything for you and simply put you on hold or hang up without any shame.
Bottom line - it's the WORST online store I ever dealt with. They may have good prices, but you'd better buy from somebody respecting you.

"Midway has changed over the last few years and not for the better. Prices are no longer great or even good sometimes. Shipping has gone through the roof. Customer service is almost rude now. I live in Missouri so I pay tax on my stuff-no problem. Missouri tax exempts labor, shipping ect from taxes. Midway charges tax on those. The shipping is already sky high and taxing it is a slap in the face. $14.65 for two pounds and 100 miles. When I pointed out the tax code to them I was told that they knew the law and they were charging tax anyway. Used to be you could pick your shipping method. I guess you can't now. I may not have been a big customer but now I am not a customer at all."
"I am a type07/SOT2 dealer and manufacture of firearms. I had been using MidwayUSA for parts and for the most part was satisfied with everything except shipping times. To the point recently I had ordered parts for one of my AR builds, everything came in on time except for a $11, gas tube, which was placed on back order. So I was given the date of 9/19/12, I called customer service to make sure the part would arrive, I was insured it would. Two days ago however I was informed it would be 10/02/12, which is past deadline for the build. I call and they offer nothing but excuses, there must have been other back orders in front of you, etc. I emailed their CEO on current business practices and let him know of the situation,but he was to busy to reply and handed it off to the next guy, same excuse. I have no room for that lack of concern or BS, when my company name is on the line. If you are a hobbiest by all means, professional business I would go else where, Midway is only conserened with their bottum line and if it cost you or your business to bad."
"I am shocked to see how many "bad" reviews there are here for MidwayUSA. I've used them quite a bit for about four years now, and I've never had bad experience with them. Yeah, they may not have the absolute best "regular" prices on some items, but they often have online coupons available - which they quite explicitly state may not be used on sale/clearance items AND must be used by a certain date. They also often have very good sale/clearance prices. More importantly, based on MY experience, their customer service is probably the best of any store, online or brick and mortar, I've ever used. They often ship items on the same day it is ordered, and I've returned at least a dozen products and they have never given me any grief for it. In fact, their customer service is so good, that I will often buy a product from them even though I can find the same product from another vendor for less money. When any of my friends start getting involved in firearms, Midway is the first online store I introduce to them. I can't recommend them enough - a first class organization. No, I don't work for them or anything."

"Not a happy customer. Ordered a crimson trace for my kahr pm40 and 3 extra magazines May 22, 2012.
Receive an email the next day that my orders shipped and estimated arrival would be May 26, 2012. One week have passed after the said estimation I still have not receive my order. Called customer service and they told me usually it will take 7 to 10 days. 2 weeks after that (14 days) still have not receive my order and customer service told me to wait another week and call them back then they will do something about that. I am a very patient man but this is ridiculous. I did not expect this from a reputable company such as this."

"For certain items, Midway USA is the way to go. I have a wholesale account with them, but the discount they give to wholesalers isn't enough of a difference to make a profit so I only buy things for my personal use. So basically for the slightly lower prices I pay I have to place a larger minimum order than the general public to avoid a fee.
For my last order I bought, among other things, a 5-round magazine for my AR to make it legal for deer hunting in my state. Midway offered a brand of magazine that was nearly half the price of the cheapest one I found on cheaperthandirt.com. I tried to buy a folding hunting chair advertised for $18 that cost $29 at my local store. I added it to my cart and saw my shipping quote increase by $20. Even if it was shipping separately from another warehouse, $20 for a small, lightweight chair is ridiculous, so I bought elsewhere for that item. Midway had the cheapest price for an inflatable doe decoy (Miss November), even cheaper than eBay.
So do a little research. There are deals to be had on Midway USA. Plus they support the NRA and any shooter should love that! As for my experience with my orders, they ship the next day and provide tracking info."

"I feel that Midway pricing is deceptive as their Shipping charges for even tiny items are prohibitive. Plus, there is a $3.00 "handling" charge for any order under $25. Again, I think this is deceptive and their listed price doesn't come close to reflecting the final cost.
My specific issue is that I ordered an item from them which was on backorder with an expected stock date 4 days from date of order. I thought it was acceptable and placed the order. Over the next 30 days, I received 5 date change notices, each one replacing the one prior. Speaking with Customer service was useless and I finally asked that they waive their "handling" fee since I felt it wasn't being handled very well. They refused and thus lost a client for life. Plus I plan on telling all my shooting buddies this story and let them make up their minds about Midway."
"I have had great success and service dealing with MidwayUsa. All of the items I have ordered have been shipped quickly and if there was ever a mistake on my end or theirs, it was rectified quickly and painlessly. I am surprised at the negative reviews, they had a product mis-priced on the website, I called and spoke with a customer rep and was given the lower wrong price. I use Midway for all of my reloading and most of my gun parts too."
"Ordered a shot timer 2/10/12. Paid for priority shipping. Still don't have my shot timer and it's 2/15/12. Estimated delivery date was suppose to be 2/13/12. Not sure if I should be upset with Midwayusa or the US Postal Service. Guess Midway, since that is who I placed the order with. I live in Oregon. My package spent time in Cali for a little while but somehow went to Hawaii instead of just taking a trip North to me. I wonder if Midway shipped it priority or just shipped it regular mail. I needed the timer this week and now I don't think I will get it.
