"I ordered several items and most of them were back-ordered. When the items arrive in stock they ship at the locked in price the item was ordered. Other than the price for shipping, Midway's sale prices can rarely be beat. The only problems I had were related to shipping and when I called up they were usually quickly resolved, except this last time I was not satisfied with their answer. I sent an eMail to the President, Harry Potterfield. One of his staffers promptly got back with me and satisfactorily resolved the problem. "

I called the company that makes the product and the part will be shipped tomorrow. The people at midway were polite and professsional but didn't seem to eager to help out an old customer. They could have picked up the phone and got the part on the way. The staff was really polite but really lacked the most important part of customer service, helping the customer. "

"I was pleased when I received an email from Midway notifying me that an item I had been searching for was now in stock. So, I placed an order. The package was shipped later that same day and arrived in record time (via USPS).

Unfortunately, Midway shipped me the incorrect part. The part that I received is one which Midway does not stock or sell at all although it was tagged with the description and part number of what I had ordered. So, there was some sort of inventory mess-up somewhere (the manufacturer? Midway? who knows?).

I contacted Midway asking about the mistake and hoping for a favorable solution. They promptly replied to disavow any technical knowledge of the part and to mention that I could contact the manufacturer and/or make a return.

So, I packaged up the item to make a return and sent it off. A credit was placed to the card with which I ordered after a couple days of Midway receiving the returning package for the entire order amount including shipping to me (of course, not including shipping back to Midway). The package's arrival was noted on my Midway order history page and an email I sent regarding the return was met with a quick reply."

My last order was for a relatively small amount, to be shipped by USPS priority mail. Order placed online on Sunday afternoon, 5/6/2007; order shipped Monday, 5/7/2007; received Wednesday, 5/9/2007. In other words, you don't have to pay extra to receive expedited service, as you now have to do with NewEgg, ZipZoomFly, Dell or B&H Photo. All orders of in stock items are expedited. This is how it should be.

Plus, MidwayUSA's return policy is only surpassed by Costco's. Satisfaction is guaranteed; there is no hard limit on the time to return unused items.
