"Ordered on 3/16/11. When I called to check status on 3/21/11 I was told items take 7-10 business days to ship because the warehouse is located in Arizona and the shipping dept. is located in Wisconsin. I asked what would happen if I cancel my order. Was told that I would have to pay a 15% restocking fee, even though the item hasn't shipped to me because it was already on the truck from Arizona headed to Wisconsin. Very poor shipping time. If you're in a hurry, or have a deadline, don't order from this store."

"Do not order from this Company. Item was listed as in stock. After waiting 5 days for a shipping number I called, they told me they don't ship items out for 7-10 days. After 10 days no shipping confirmation. Called, was told it would be another 10-15 days because they were waiting on a shipment to come in. Told them I wanted order cancelled and they did with no problems but my credit card got hit with nearly 400.00 in fraud charges the very next day. Don't know if this was a coincidence or not but all of this mess is enough to keep me from ever ording from them again."

"I ordered 6 fishing rods retailing for $100+tax a piece and getting them for $65 a piece with a $12 shipping fee for the whole order. It said 7-10 days to recieve them and I got 4 of them within that time frame and waiting on the other 2. For me, it's a great place to buy! I will wait a little longer to recieve my rods (or any product) since they saved me around $240. "

"I recently ordered three reels from Midwest Hunters Outlet. From reviews and what they indicate at their site I knew that it would take about 10 business days for my stuff to arrive. And it did. It is also important to know that they did NOT charge my credit card until the stuff actually shipped!!

So I got a great deal overall, thanks guys at Midwest Hunters!

They are probably not the fastest shippers, but they do not charge your CC until they ship the merchandise...

"I ordered the Art of the Dynamic Handgun from TGSCOM on 3/1/2011 and on 3/7/2011, it still hasn't been shipped out. I called to cancel and was told that due to their growth, they had to get the product from their 'other' warehouse and that they would charge me 15% to restock it. I think they have people place orders and purposely not ship just to have customers cancel and get the 15% restocking fee. I'll never do business with TGSCOM again!"

"I ordered a wolf black powder before i had a chance to look at the sellers ratings. After i read them i wondered if i made a mistake buying from this seller. Well, after i placed the order i had a printable receipt sent to my email on my sale. The next day i got a tracking number. I ordered this on a wed. and had it delivered to my home on friday, just 2 days!! That is the best service i ever got online and i buy tons of stuff from different sellaers daily. I received the rifle so fast the money was not even taken out of my bank account yet and the rifle was delivered! Of course i will buy from midwest again. My transaction was outstanding. The price at the time was at least 25.00 cheaper than every other seller was asking. Product was in perfect condition and was as described."

"Everything the other reviews are stating is true. Do not purchase anything from this store if you want it anytime soon. I wish I had read these reviews before cancelling my order and paying 15% penalty. Beware, they are using many different websites to pedal their b.s. You'll know because the customer service representative will ask you what website you are ordering from if you order from their 1-800 number. They also have a website called www.thegunstore.com. You can get the products they sell a lot cheaper from other sites."

"Why didn't I see this forum BEFORE .... ?

Do NOT believe their websites. They don't stock much. They take your order and lie to you for weeks about what is in stock and what is back-ordered. You can call several times a week and get different answers. I was told several times over weeks after ordering and waiting that it was 'processing'. Then on one days call I was told, it was on back-order and had been since I ordered. I then transferred to a similar variation Glock 17 Gen4 that was "in-stock" and could be sent immediately. Another week with no update and I find out that this one was not in stock for some time and still on back-order. Pay the couple extra dollars and save the aggravation.

They haven't charged my card yet so they aren't thieves.....yet. Obviously their business plan is flawed and they can NOT be trusted. I would only buy from them if you live locally and can take immediate possession.

STAY AWAY !!

"The worst customer service I have ever seen. Did not receive an order confirmation for 7 days, when I asked about the order shipping I was told.......
Please allow approximately 7-10 business days from the date your order was placed to RECEIVE YOUR ITEMS. We will e-mail you with tracking information when your order ships.
I ordered on the 18th and got the order confirmation on the 25th. 7-10 days TO REVCIEVE YOUR ORDER. It had already been 7 days without an email or any charges posted to my account.
When I called to cancel the order I was told…….
To request cancellation of an order please contact our Customer Support Team via telephone at ***-***-****, Monday-Friday 8AM to 8PM CST and Saturday and Sunday 9AM to 5PM CST. For verification purposes, you will be asked to provide your complete billing and shipping addresses as well as the last four digits of the credit card used to place the order. Once the proper information is received, your order will be canceled within 24 hours. Please note that we are unable to complete any cancellations via e-mail or fax. Please note that there is a 15% cancellation fee for all non-firearm orders that are currently processing or that have been shipped. There is a 25% cancellation fee assessed on all canceled firearm orders that are currently processing or that have been shipped. If the item(s) on your order are on backorder, you will not be charged a cancellation fee.
I then called customer service and spoke with Maria and Latisha. At this time my credit card had not been charged for the order. (I called the bank) So why would I get charged for something that had not been processed? When asked about the charges for the order they replied, “The order was processed and packaged 30 minutes ago”. So it took them 7 days to send me a confirmation for the order and as soon as I want to cancel it makes its way to the package and is about to ship????? I know the Keebler elf made cookies but I guess times got hard and they started contract work with these guys. Something isn’t right with this. DO NOT USE THIS SITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you are not convinced just look at all the reviews on the net. This has happen to too many people for you to spend your hard earned money on substandard service.

"I have ordered twice from Midwest Hunters Outlet in the last 6 months and both times have received great pricing and fast shipping on exactly what I ordered, with no hassles. Maybe I'm just lucky but I've been very pleased with my shopping experiences there so far and would definitely come back again.

"I ordered a handguard for my AR-15 and a week later they hadn't shipped it yet!!! I called them to cancel the order and was told that it was "in processing" and thus would cost me a 15% fee to cancel. I decided to leave the order in place even though I had to go get a similar item locally for more money in order to have it for a coming weekend at a range.

Want to buy an AR-15 handguard???

Bottom line, don't buy from AR15Pro.com or any of the sibling companies. They are slow to fill orders and are not customer friendly.

"Stay away from midwesthuntersoutlet or TGSCOM

Stay away from them!!!!

This company fills order VERY VERY slow. The estimated arrival time of the order was too late for my business. By the time I found that, I called their customer service and they told me they have not shipped the order. Therefore, I ask them to cancel the order. However, they want to charge 15% fee to cancel this order!

I think this practice does not make any sense. How could they charge a restock fee for the order that is never processed and shipped?

This is one of the worst online businesses I have ever deal with. Stay away from them!

"These people clearly haven't heard about underpromising and overdelivering. 7-10 business days to receive 2 maps they had in stock. Took them 6 business days to get them in the mail and that is if I believe them. No tracking information provided / no clarification of shipping method. LAST TIME I WOULD ORDER ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE. WHAT A JOKE "
