After placing my order early on a Friday morning I waited for it to ship out. "I have purvchased here countless times over the years. It is run by an amazing group of people who are very friendly, supportive, and professional. Other individuals commenting on the lack of help or professionalism need to keep in mind that although there is a "modchipman" chat room that is available 24 hours a day, that does not mean they SIT THERE 24 hours a day. It is an open method for customer interaction with other users.
I special ordered a replacement laser which arrived NEXT DAY internationally. Very impressed. If you want the job done right, stick with these guys, they are reliable and dependable, unlike some other vendors I have dealt with (name changes won't hide you)! "They told me 3-4 days processing time on a premod, took a week and a half before it even shipped...I changed my shipping to overnight, they charged me for it and still shipped it 2 day. All i can say is they're communication between different people at modchipman sucks, I finally got my premod, but the extra charges are still on my credit card.
Modchipman sucks for customer service, but are the bomb when it comes to modding, my ps2 works great. If you dont mind waiting awhile, or going through a few bumps in the road on the way, then modchipman is allright."

"I ordered a pre-mod XBox over a month ago. When it arrived, the system was defective out of the box and had to be sent in for RMA.
The stated maximum turn around on an RMA is 5 days, it has been 7 so far. Support has been helpful but is unable to tell me the status of the repair or when I might expect to receive my system.
In the future, I would avoid purchasing a pre-mod system from Modchipman.
UPDATE:
After filing a dispute with my credit card company, I was contacted by "Luke" who said he had repaired my Xbox. He accused me of attempting to defraud their company and threatened to call the postal inspector and my local police if I did not cancel the credit chargeback."
"Infinity Premod PS2 purchased did not have internal cooling fan connected causing console to overheat
After ordering a PS2 premod i recieved the product swiftly. But on using the PS2 it continually overheated. After much stress and frustration on my part watching my brand new PS2 continually crash. I opened a ticket on modchipmans customer support they were swift to reply but i did not recieve a resolution. After opening up the console my self i discovered the cable sending power to the internal cooling fan was not connected!! I assume this was disconected to install the mod although it was a worrying oversight to not re- connect this!!! I re clipped the cabbles together. Thus re- solved the problem.
After contacting modchipman and asking for some kind of compensation or good will gesture i recieved no reply nor did i get a resonse. After waiting several days i discovered the ticket had been closed with no reply or answer to my question.
Delivery was great but this was a worryingly obvious mistake to make.
