"I have made purchases with Monarch before and they have been good to me until my last purchase. I placed an order on a OCZ Powerstream 520W on Nov. 12 and did not get any confirmation for it for three days. At that point, I submitted the request for order number on Wednesday and was informed that the order would ship either that same day or the next day at the latest. Two days later, I still did not receive confirmation or tracking numbers, so I checked the order status and it still showed "being processed." I sent another email on the 17th inquiring about the status. I did not get a reply until the 21st at 5:00PM, at which point they stated they had an oversale. I had checked the stock the whole time, and it always appeared as "In stock: usually ships in 1-2 days." Either they did a poor job of maintaining their inventory or the guy was just BSing me. I ended up getting the power supply on the 28th, two full weeks after I made the purchase. Initially, I thought it was my credit card that was not going through, so I did not blame anyone. But when I checked my credit card statement, it showed that I was charged on the 12th. Meanwhile, their order status showed "being processed" for 1 and a half week. If there was an oversale, they should have emailed me immediately or at least when I requested the order status the first time. I would have either waited depending oo the ETA or take my business elsewhere. Instead, they told me that it would ship that day so I did not cancel the order. However, the packaging was great as usually though.
Edit: Sterling from Monarch contacted me after the incident. I appreciate his efforts in contacting an unsatisfied customer and his sincerity in our conversation. He apologized immediately and explained the situation. Further, he offered to take actions to make me satisfied. You know someone cares about his customers when he is willing to talk to you on his cell phone around midnight, since I live in California and I am busy until night time. Not many people would be willing to do that, just to please one customer. Needless to say, I felt much better after speaking with him. "

"I ordered an ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe motherboard. It's a hot item everywhere and I'm lucky to have gotten one. Monarch was the only place taking backorders on this board and if you ordered by the 15th it would be shipped by the 28 and I ordered mine on the 19 and they still shipped it by that date. All in all it was a good place to buy from and will keep them in mind for future orders."

I ordered the product, and their website said it would ship out in 2-4 days. 5 days later I called, and they told me that they were getting a ship[ment in that night, and that it would ship out that night. 5 days later I called, and they said that they got some in, but they sent them out to other customers. They told me that I would have to wait and see if they got more in today. The customer service rep was rude, and unhelpfull.

"I just recently finished placing an order with Monarch for a Combo plus other parts to a new system. This is not the first time I have shopped with Monarch as every time previous has been exellent I always come back for my PC Parts.
I order a AMD Combo along with a brand new eVGA 7800GTX512 that was about to launch 2 days later. Unfortunatly They oversold on the Video Card since the website leaked that had them available to order so many many people ordered them myself included. I was able to Work with their Tech support staff and website Staff. ChrisH in particular really really helped me get my 7800GTX512 shipped as it was their very last one. Now After that I thought my system was shipping however I found out that the Processor for my combo had also been oversold. Although Frustrating all it took was a phone call for them to get it cleared up. They had just recived a shipment of them that day (5 days after my order) and would rush it out to me. They upgraded me to Fed-Ex overnight and it shipped literally 5 hours after i talked to them.
Monarch is Truly #1 in customer service. Everyone has troubles from time to time we are all human but MCS goes above and beyond every other company I have worked with to make sure everything gets made right. Thank you again Monarch for your outstanding Computer service and support!
