"FYI. If you have not shopped at Monarch Computers you really need to. They have one important goal to honor there Customers. I had a situation with a motherboard i wanted to purchase and they had it in stock but there was a problem with a part missing from the manufactor they received the parts but had to package them with the motherboard before they could ship them, they were getting some slack in some forums for this but it was NOT Monarchs falt i called them and i got EXCELLENT customer support they explained the situation and they told me they would do whatever it takes for me to get my board before my sons B-Day they changed my shipping from ground to overnight FREE and my DFI EXPERT arrived EARLY!!!! They really care about there customers and i am glad i am one. So give them a try you will be happy with the excellent service they have. "Its been 4 weeks since my "rma" and i still dont have my money back. Unheard of.
The package i ordered shouldnt even have been sent out. I ordered a video card from this place, then decided against the purchase 15 minutes later, so i called their Customer Service #. I was told i COULDNT CANCEL OVER THE PHONE, and i had to email my cancel order. That alone is horrible service.
So i emailed to cancel , then i received a email back after a few hours saying "your order is packed and charged to your account, are you sure you want to cancel?" Who questions their customers, Customer is most usually right by most company standards, Not monarch though.
The package was shipped, needless to say i was irrate, it took a threat to write a review here to get them to set up an RMA for my package. I called Fedex, they were nice enough to stop the pkg before it got to my house and return it to Monarch. Monarch has had my package for 4 weeks, I've tried calling to find out the status and they just keep saying it will be on my next statement...Vague? I cant even get my RMA # through email.
Be Wary of this site, there are other websites to order from that are MUCH easier/cheaper/better to deal with. "

"This company is not capable of handling good job.
To prevent fraud, I understand they have to make sure the shipping address is on VISA card company.
However, they only have to verify once, subsequent orders are to be verified by their own sales database.
They call themself a computer company and YET they don't even make used of such information. Why the hell they want a computer for.
Everytime I place the new order, everytime they have to ask me to reply them by calling my visa card company, by negotiating with their finance department. I really wonder if this is how they do business, apparently they are.
I will think twice to place new order again.
I called monarchcomputer again, after I sent them the email to explain, AGAIN, they did a bad job. Because they just do not know how to verify the information with my VISA card company, and always get negative answer from my VISA card company. They are lazy to ask VISA card company in proper way.

"I've made two purchases from Monarch. This most recent order had me frustrated from an apparent VISA security check that I was unaware of and so my order had been postponed. To say I was rude would have been an understatement and I took most of my anger out on the Monarch support staff.
And what was their response to my inexcusible behavior for something they weren't even wrong on?
They apologized (they didn't do anything wrong!) and sent me my order overnight express without additional charge and included a complimentary gift.
Now - do you think they won me as a long-term customer? You bet.
