"On Nov. 28th I placed an order for a new video card from Monarch Computer. On December 1st, I was notified that it was out of stock and they were going to send me a substitute. They proceeded to ship me the card without my consent of the substitute. On Dec. 4 I contacted my Monarch to cancel my order and request that they recall the package which was still enroute to me. But instead Monarch just allowed Fedex to ship to me. I requested a RMA and they provided the RMA and stated that I would get a full refund. But when Monarch got the video card they still tag on a 15% restocking fee. I tried contact Monarch but they never responded. So I decided to dispute the restocking fee with my credit card company. My credit card company just got back to me and had a letter from Jason Maxwell from Monarch Computer Systems stating that they were justified to charge me the 15% the restocking fee because I had open the package. Jason Maxwell from Monarch Computer Systems blatantly lied to my credit card company so they can justified the 15% restocking fee. In the mean time I will continue to fight the charges. My advice from anyone thinking about buying anything from Monarch Computer Systems. Don't do it! It's not worth it in the end!"

"I ordered a custom built system on the 24th of September. I just received it today, 27th of October. Obviously, shipping and build speed is not their forte. I'm a little displeased it took so much longer than originally promised (8-13 business days.)
On the other hand, Monarch had the absolutely lowest price and best selection I could find amongst all the custom pc builders I found online. Identical or very similar machines built on other sites were generally $300-$1000 dollars more expensive.
The machine was delivered fully functional, reasonably packed. (I've ordered before from Apple, ABS PC, and Gentechpc. The prettiness and security of the packaging was on the low end of this spectrum, but sufficient.) The safety of the computer seemed secure. The extras were placed in a box. Not exactly prettily arranged, but all the extra parts were there and the manuals were in a neat stack.
The wiring inside the computer was well done, especially given the tricky case and multitude of equipment. Fan speeds were intelligently set. "

"I ordered a Logitech Momo Racing force feedback steering wheel on Monday. I selected the free shipping option (estimated at 5-8 days).
I recieved the wheel on *Wednesday* of the same week.
I also paid only $75 total with shipping for a wheel that sells for $185 at CompUSA or Circuit City, if you can even find one in stock (I spent three hours last week finding out that although most electronics shops have a couple of wheels on DISPLAY, they don't actually have any FOR SALE).
Way to go, Monarch!
