" Satisfaction........So Sweet
Well I must say that i am very satisfied and happy that my new system is up and running.. I returned my mobo and cpu combo a week and a half ago and today received it back running like a MOFO.... I do have to say thank you for the updates and replys to my e-mails concerning my questions of where and whats going on.. I am glad that i bought most of my compnets from u guys.. Besides for the great prices and nice shipping method i have to say that i am quite please.

Monarch Computer's "Pre-Order" Practice Questionable !!!
On 04/18/2005 I Ordered :
120209 AMD Athlon 64 4000+ 1MB 90nm Rev. E (ADA4000DAA5BN) (939) Shipping Starts (April 22th) 1 $549.00 $549.00
The Delivery Date is Clearly Indicated in the Web Ad, And The Invoice. On 04/23/2005 I discovered on Monarch's Web Site that the delivery date had slid to 04/29/2005.
When a Customer Shops The need is usually Immediate, and there is some consideration for In-Stock Merchandise, And Obviously Cost.
My biggest concern here is that my Credit Card Was Charged Immeadiately on 04/18/2005.
Monarch Computer has created a certian amount of Hype on the Net About this Product. Thus my decision to Purchase From Them along with what seems to be a Good Reputation.
I'll Quickly Cut To It :
"Pre-Order" = Sales Euphemism for "Floorplanning"
"Sliding Delivery Date" = Not Enough Pre-Orders to Buy Minimum Purchase Quantity.
"Floorplanning" = Practice where consumers pay for product before actual delivery.(banned by most states in 50's) IE : "Consumer Protection Acts"
Some Retailer's have taken this approach because of the Volitility Of The Market, and It is easy to get burnt on de-valueing inventory. (IE : Memory/Motherboards etc.)
It has also become more common on High-End Tech.
(IE: Vid Cards & Processors) because of the High Unit Cost, and the Huge Capital Outlay Involved.
($450.00 x 100 = $ 450,000)
It is simply a money game, anything to tie those funds up for another day....
Monarch needs a more Pro-active Approach, because frankly I was not impressed. from my perspective they are driving the hype around their product until they have enough "Shills" in the heap, and play a delaying game until they have what they need.

I almost got hosed by one of your competitors (T.D.). I had ordered a built-to-order machine. Long story short I was sent used equipment as new and stopped further shipment.
After that I went on the web and did a search for build-to-order systems. Monarch Computer was near the top so I clicked. After seeing how much time and effort went into your website, I did a search for reviews of your company and systems. Very Impressive!! The only negative reviews came from people saying that it took to long to get their system.(more on that later).
I went back to your website and put together a Furia Ultimate Workstation.(the competitor equipment was not even close in quality and the price was much higher).I did not order at this time but I did print out the parts list for what I was interested in.
Next, I spent hours reviewing and researching all the equipment on my list. Guess what? Every single piece had very high to excellent ratings. I do mean every piece!!
Next I called and spoke with Jason in sales. He was very helpful, has a great knowledge of his products and made some great suggestions for upgrades.
Done deal! I ordered that day.
Now a little on the "taking to long" reviews! I have never had someone build my computers before. The first computer I built was a 286 with a whopping 4 meg of ram, a 10 meg hard drive and the best 3 1/2 inch floppy drive available (they had just become available). I have built several since that time to stay current with the technology. Anyone who has built their own systems knows that rushing is the way to frustration and extra work. If you left a bad review for "taking to long" just be thankful those guys took the extra time to build you that clean,solid, great looking system.
I use mine for video editing, DVD/CD burning and 3D animation. I can say with no reservations that Monarch Computer builds a high quality, solid running and cost effective system. There is no way I could have purchased the same parts and built my system for the price they gave me. I highly recommend their company to any and everyone.
