"I used to swear by this shop. It had excellent customer service and everyone was extremely friendly. When the management changed about 2 or 3 years ago, so did the quality of service. If I try to make an appt. online, I never get a call back from this shop, so I have to call in (every time). Last time I receive an oil change, they did not turn my reminder light off in my car. When i asked them to do it, they tracked grease all over my floor mats (they had to be thrown out) and still were unable to figure out how to turn the light off (I read the manual and did it myself a few days later). This place is very convenient for me to go, but I'd rather go a little further out of my way than feel not valued."

"I love Monro, however I had a really bad experience on the day I had my oil change done. The first location I had an appointment scheduled for which was in Glen Burnie, MD turned me away after I had already called in two days prior to schedule an appointment for an oil change. I was very upset and asked them why I was being turned away and the representative told me that he did't have any technicians available. So I had to track down another Monro since I desperately needed an oil change and I ended up having to track down another location which I did, and it happened to be a half an hour out of my way. I told them my situation , and they said they would do my oil change, but halfway through my oil change they told me that my tires were bad and that it wasn't safe for me to drive. I told them that I couldn't afford to pay for the tires and the last time I went into the location that had previously turned me away, they told me that I was good with brakes and tires until January, so I was quite upset and confused that I was being told this confusing and conflicting information. I understand that your company has to make a sale but I would have appreciated it if I would have been told the truth instead of lied to when 1) I went to get my oil change and was turned away, and 2) when I went to get my oil change at the alternate location and was told I needed to get new tires when I didn't. It's making me think that after all these years that I have been dealing with Monro, it may be time to take my business elsewhere."

"I sued this monro to the small claim. they screwed my blazer last March 28, 2013. they damaged the motor because of the excessive oil they put, the technician didn't know what his doing, i think he's not qualified to be a technician, they cost me $738.39 and they didn't pay me for the damages. And I won, I hear a lot of bad news about this monro but I dou all!!idn't listened to them, so people if you want to go to monro think ten times before you decide i know it's cheap but their going to damaged your car and you have to pay for the big price. god bless y"
