"I called during the week to make an appointment for oil changes for 2 of my cars. I asked what the price would be. I was quoted $26.95. I made the appointment for today, Saturday 11/4. The first appointment at 0800 the second at 0900. My daughter was bringing the second car at 0900. The first car was done in a timely fashion. I asked if I could pay for both cars at the same time. I was told no. Okay. I paid $26.95. The second car is also completed in a timely fashion. I go to pay for the second car- $36.95. I asked how can that be when I just paid $26.95 an hour ago for the same kind of car? I was told I received a $10 discount before. I asked why? There was no answer to the question. Instead he discounted the oil change to free.
I don't want free. I want to know that when I go for an oil change it will be the same fee every time. I don't want to have to question the integrity of the place where I am spending my hard earned money. I want to know when my mother, my sister, my friend, and my neighbor goes to Monroe for service that they are treated fairly
Free is not my expectation. If the guy behind the counter thought sending me away without a charge for services was going to make me go away happy, he was wrong.
I don't want a handout. I want and deserve fair treatment as a customer.

"Not mad that they couldn't' fix the tire, but upset that no one looked at it in advance. Got the phone call around an hour later, had to drive back and pick up the unrepaired tire. Essentially was a waste of time. Staff was very nice, just wish they had take the time to evaluate the repair before sending me on my way the first time."

"I've taken my vehicles to Monro for years to get service (oil changes, brakes, etc.). I was shocked to see the dramatic increase in the price for oil changes (yes, I understand, they were very low in the past: i.e. 9.99, 14.99, and 19.99, but besides the point). New management (yes, one manager represent's the entire corporation) abruptly came out to say: "Corporate sent me down, I can't have my guys work for free...". Then after I question the sudden change, new management tells me, "stop haggling me and I can get on with your car!."
