"My recent experience at Munro Muffler & Brake Service, at their 845 Park Rd store in Columbus, OH was absolutely fantastic. I had walked in with a 2012 Toyota Camry SE, which needed all four brake pads & rotors and the rear brake calipers replaced. I do not get to drive my car too much as my workplace is quite close to my home. Add to that, quite heavy snow & a lot of salting - and the brake calipers and the rotors had turned into rust-buckets; so much so, that the calipers won't budge and were grinding into the rotors. Constant contact with the rotors had also led to the pads being worn out quicker than they should have. I was at fault in neglecting the situation until things were out of hand, but they were very understanding and didn't make me feel like I was careless. They showed me exactly what was wrong, what needed to be changed immediately and what I could live with for a little longer - they even gave me two separate estimates and let me choose. No peddling unnecessary stuff, no attempt to fool me into paying for services I didn't need - even though it was clear that I was a layman. Agreed, that this is how everyone should behave, but honestly, you really don't get such trustworthy service nowadays.

Once I agreed to one of the estimates, one of the parts was found to be out-of-stock, and the manager of the store went above & beyond by contacting multiple distributors to get the missing part for me on the same day and get the job done - and guess what, it was 6:30 PM in the evening - just 30 mins before they were scheduled to close. They could've easily gotten that part the next day and asked me to come back, but they didn't. They got the part, and stayed late for over an hour and completed the job the same evening.

The next evening, when I dropped by to get the wheels re-torqued (just in case) they noticed something amiss on one of the rotors, and promptly brought the car in and fixed it free of charge!

While the work was on, the manager discussed my driving habits with with me, and advised me on what symptoms to keep an eye on and how to maintain a general upkeep of my car.

All-in-all, I am very satisfied with the service, and will definitely remember this store for my future car-repair needs."
