"I went to Mr. Tire for simple oil change on my car. I was told that additional services were needed: wiper blades, power steering service and additional coolant. Since I can easily acquire blades and change them, I declined. The wipers function without a problem. Since I have coolant and water, I also declined. Both would have added excessive labor charges for the service plus the cost of the needed items. It was not fully understood that the cost for power steering service would be $100 more than I thought the service desk attendant said it would be plus I assumed that I was told the truth regarding the need to do the service. The oil disposal fee is absurd since I can change my own oil and take the used oil to some auto parts dealers who will take it free of charge. By the way, the advertised $14.99 oil change actually came to over $30. Caveat emptor!"
"I woke up to a half-flat tire and in a hurry to get to work. The service person was friendly and took my car in right away. The tire was repaired and no hard sell for a new tire. I was in and out in no time at all and on my way. I will definitely go back to Mr. Tire when it's time for new tires."
"The only reason I gave a one star rating is because zero wasn't an option. They said they could rotate my tires in 45 minutes. After sitting there for an hour watching every other car in the parking lot taken in before mine (even though every car came in after mine) I decided I'd rotate the tires myself. Would never go back there again."
"I blew out my tire driving home from work when it was literally 8 degrees out with a wind chill of 15 below zero. I called Mr. Tire to see if they not only had my tire size in stock (I drive a Dodge Durango) and if they could put it on the same day (at this point it was already 4:00 pm and they close at 6:00 pm). I was seriously in shock when he told me they had my tire in stock and that as soon as I pulled in they would be able to have me driving home within an hour. I still can't believe it went that smoothly! I have 3 kids and need my SUV to drive me and my kids everywhere for evening activities. Without a tire, I wouldn't have been able to do ANYTHING. Thanks to George McGuckin, my busy, chaotic life continued on as if nothing happened. I will always return to Mr. Tire just because he treated me like I was the only customer in the store that day. "on a sunday afternoon, i noticed my tire was not holding air. must be a leak somewhere.
noticed a screw to be the culprit. This location was able to take the tire i brought in and patch it before close of business so i could get to work on monday. it was sort of a last minute job that was able to be fit into the their schedule. although i probably need a new tire, it wasnt necessary and i wasnt pressured into buying a new one (size wasnt in stock) and spend money i didnt need to at this moment.

"Came in with one blown-out tire, one new tire, two tires that may have been triggering the "low pressure" warning. I asked them, in addition to replacing the blown tire, to check the pressure on all 4 tires. When I got in the car (with an added new tire to replace the blown one), low pressure was still on. I asked, but the tech assured me that it was checked and the "low pressure" light would go out in a few miles. It didn't. And then the new tire they didn't sell me was flat. I'm dealing with that, but I'm pretty such you don't go from perfect pressure to dead flat in just a few miles. And I still don't know if the tire pressure is OK for the two old tires. What would it have taken to have checked the tire pressure when I asked?"
