"No technician on duty when I came. Was told I needed an alternator when I didn't. They took the belt off of my car, when they were just supposed to be replacing battery, which is in trunk. Clerk was on phone watching basketball the whole time and got mad when I asked him to pull my car out so I can have someone else come get it. "

"I took my truck in to have 4 tires mounted and balanced, and when I picked it up, I found all 4 of my wheels had been scratched severely during the mounting of the tires. Brought it to the service reps attention and was told it was normal wear and there was nothing they could do about it. I explained that the wheels were not in this condition when I brought the truck in, but he would not hear it. Simply said there was nothing they were going to do about it. Very dissatisfied and would not recommend having work done by a shop that will damage your property and then do nothing about it."

"It is so easy to take advantage of a woman, alone, at an auto store that needs work on her car. I was never once intimidated, hassled, or pressured into any sort of service. I told the store manager that I was used to spending around $70 for an oil change because of my car requiring a special blend and I was immediately offered an oil change for $49.99. Imagine how surprised I was when my bill was actually only $15.20!!! The mechanics researched my car and found that it did not, in fact, require any sort of synthetic blend oil, that it only needed conventional 5W20 oil. It would have been so easy for them to have taken advantage of me, to have given me the more expensive oil and I would not have known any better. But they didn't. Their honesty is so refreshing. In addition, upon discussing possibly replacing all 4 of my tires, I was given the best quote in town (I called to compare prices with 7 other local auto shops) AND when I said that I would have to drag my 2 young children along with me to wait for my tires to be replaced I was offered a complimentary ride home to accommodate my kids... which meant that when my tires were changed my car would also then be delivered back to me at home. Granted, I do live right down the street from this shop. However that was completely going above and beyond for me and I will never use another auto or tire shop besides this one. I will recommend Mr. Tire to absolutely everyone!!!"
