"Average: I waited 2.5 hours while a state inspection/emissions and oil change were performed. I had an appointment for this visit. Grease marks were left on a white area of the interior near where new inspection stickers were place. I went back the next day (inconvenient). The grease was quickly cleaned, however I did not receive an apology. Unimpressed ) :
PS: On my original bill I was charged an additional $10.77 (shop supply fee). I guess that was to cover the cleaning fluid they used to remove the grease."

While replacing the tire, they expressed concern that the tire had been damaged by my local shop mounting it incorrectly... I had just recently had 4 snow tires mounted. They recommended unmounting all four tires and discovered each one seriously damaged in the same way, all just waiting to fail dramatically. If one or more had failed while on the interstate, it could have been catastrophic for my family."

"I have used Mr. Tire in the past along with other tire stores in Arlington, VA, and as a result of mergers, other good local options have been reduced. I went to my local Mr. Tire and was once again very impressed; I had not been there in two years, as I was lucky enough to avoid having a flat. This location is with-in walking distance to my house, and I have noticed that they are open on Sundays and holidays. I have recommended Mr. Tire to people for that reason alone. I had purchased Roadside Hazard coverage, so that was applied and I saved a little bit of money off a new tire. The tire was reasonably priced and I also bought Roadside Hazard coverage for the new tire. The manager pointed out other mechanical work that I should get done, and I plan to return there to do just that in the New Year. I will only use Mr. Tire as my tire store of choice."

Beware that you will be charged $11 extra per tire for a TPMS service/repair kit and this is not mentioned on their website along with the shop supply fee.

The "On The Rim & Out The Door® Pricing. No Hidden Costs!" slogan is a bit misleading and you will get hit with the TPMS as well as shop supply fees. I can live with tax as after the fact charges but any vehicle manufactured in the last 10 years will likely have TPMS and this would be a nice point to mention. Their website states "Our pricing DOES NOT include federal or state tax(es)" but they conveniently left out the the two other up-charges. They could at least mention that you may need a TPMS service kit as well as shop supplies will be extra.

I would probably use the location again and these hidden fees are not uncommon. Just be aware that you will end up paying at least A$80 more than you expected for a set of tires installed before tax."
