"Right as soon as my team won the NBA championship I placed an order for a shirt from the NBA store, thinking it was smart to get it from the source. However my shirt never arrived and all I got was emails extending the date or emails saying there was a problem with the manufacturer and did not when it would ship next. I cancelled my order now (the NBA season is about to start). Worst experience ordering ever."
"I attempted to purchase a jersey and a sweatshirt as registered user from their online store. Hereby, I will try to recapitulate briefly my nasty experience, which in not only unacceptable for the current established practices in the market but, I dare to say, transcends the boundaries of common acceptable manners and jeopardizes common courtesy. The order was never completed (due to a system malfunction) and the payment procedure was not finalized. I decide to try once more with the same result. So far, so good, you might think; nothing bought, nothing paid, nothing to worry about. The fly in the ointment is that, although I have not received any confirmation email from the server yet and the order does still not appear in my account page (that section remains blank), my credit card was charged twice! I have already turned to the site by email (4 messages in total) and received just 1 answer (it just mentioned that the debacle was attributed to a technical problem and that the confirmation message has been sent to all affected recipients - it didn't reach me, nevertheless). Until now I have not been given any logical, personalized, detailed explanation for what happened and so I was obligated to send them a formal letter of complaint. Meanwhile, I am not aware if and when am I going to receive any articles and whether the amount will be refunded (I have repeatedly required them to do so). Unfortunately, the current situation can be only as quite horrendous described and thanks to the incompetence or, rather, indifference of the customer service department, it signifies a deadlock. I am still waiting for an apology, a shipment notification or any form of compensation. It is immensely incomprehensible and totally unfair to incur such a financial loss, to vacillate between precariousness and hopelessness or simply pour money down the drain because of the mediocrity or, I dare to say, the aloofness of their customer service department. To put it in a nutshell, the communication gap, the below-average service and the tendency to neglect queries from clients lead to an absolutely exasperating feeling.

"I placed an order on june 14, I was guaranteed a ship date no later than June 25. June 25 passes and I email customer service and they said it’s late it’s due to ship out no later than the 27th. The 27th passes and again I now call customer service and they say it is set to ship July 2nd and as an apology we will cover ur shipping cost of 14$. July 2nd has now passed and my item still hasn’t shipped. What was originally a Father’s Day gift will now be irrelevant because so much time has passed. "Jun. 14th - bought some champion merchandise on with one day express shipment.
Jun. 17th - Called customer service for the status, was told items will be shipped on Jun 21st and deliver Jun 24th.
Jun 21st - received email saying the order is shipped
Jun 24th - received another email saying the order is delayed. No information about when it will be shipped
Jun 24th - contact customer service, the lady is rude and insisted it's my misunderstanding. The deliver is set to Jul. 1st at the first place. Showing print screen and chat record, still denies anything and cut the conversation
Jun 24th - talk to another customer service, better than the previous one. Issued refund for 3 of 5 items. No refund for shipment. Creating a ticket to the warehouse to see if the remind items can be cancelled. Still waiting for the call.
Horrible experience. I should have checked their reputation first. It is this bad for a reason. They don't give the **** about customers nor their reputation since they are the official websites selling NBA merchandise. With the refund I still have to pay $120 CAD for a hat and a t-shirt, not sure when they will be delivered yet.
Sharing this experience and wish people reconsider buying anything from them. They are worse then everything you can imagine from a bad online purchase experience.
I will say buying pirate merchandise might be a better option, at least they deliver."

- waiting almost a month for a product to be shipped out. (pretty sure the product is not in stock)

"Much like several other unhappy customers, I mistakenly ordered two XL Raptors jerseys when I really wanted two L jerseys. Within ten minutes of my mistake I sent an email request a change in size and a robotic reply said that someone would be in touch soon. After 24 hours - and no confirmation of shipping - I asked how long soon would be. Three days later came my answer that I would be happy to know that my order - still unchanged - had finally shipped. Needless to say, I am no longer an NBA Store fanatic."
"I ordered a customized jersey and 1 minute later I realized I ordered a wrong size. I called the customer service 3 times and everytime got stuck on the line over 10 minutes and nobody picked up the phone. I called when they had bank holidays (day after my order) and twice the day after - morning and afternoon.
In addition I wrote them 2 mails (first) less then 10 minutes straight after the order (sunday).
Then I managed to reach customer service line under different number which was not able to give me any information about orders starting with digit 1. Only orders starting with 9. I sent them 2 mails with my order details as well and they promissed me to reach the correct department and solve this (still the first day after your bank holiday).
Few days later they wrote me that my jersey (the incorrect one) was successfully sent to my address.
When I described them (again) my situation they told me it is my fault and they wont pay me my money back. I strongly do not recommend."

"I bought some product on the website and they had a promotion for FREE SHIPPING on orders over $50. I went through checkout and it turned out to be a “cash back” scam that you had to sign up on an unrelated website call freeshipping.com in which you not only had to give all your personal info but you also were required to give your credit card info to get your shipping money back. I’m not giving my info and credit card to some website I’ve never heard of called freeshipping.com! I can’t believe a multi billion dollar organization like the NBA would involve themselves in such a scam. You buy from these organizations because you expect them to be legitimate and not take advantage of their fans and customers. I will never buy from the NBA store again."
"Ordered item for Christmas during the time shown on the website for Christmas shipping. Fine print AFTER order placed says will not ship till on or before Jan 4. Still has not shipped. They cannot say why or when it will. They have to send an email to tell the warehouse they have not done their job. It has been 3 weeks since I ordered. Customer service is a joke. "Never shop from them anymore. We need to buy 2 custom Jerseys for a client as a thank you gift to her client. I placed the order on Dec.5th and called a week after saying guaranteed delivery is going to be Dec.26th for Women's and Jan.10th for Men's. I called again to double check on Dec.21st but they say the address I provided was fraudulent. The address I used is one of our US forwarder address which I understand sometimes it may cause this issue ( even tho we never had problem sending to this address before). I don't ask for more but at least let your client know that there is a problem with the order. The supervisor told me that not everyone sees the flag on the shipping and may not be a flag until later date and no customer service or order process will look after - everything is automatic. If everyone is automatic, they should fire their IT team and hire a new one! I am sure they spend big money on cosmetic the website but how about after sale? VERY FRUSTRATING! The supervisor asked to put in a new order with new address and told my boss only took 4 days to produce but actually the men's won't ship until end of January - so do not trust everything they say over the phone as well. I would hate to order with them again and they also run out of the sizes I need.
