"A MSI notebook I purchased recently did not work properly. Unfortunately, I did not keep the original packaging because I moved to Alberta from Ontario. I was not quite sure what to do and emailed the NCIX Technical Support. I knew I might not be able to send the laptop back as a RMA and asked for suggestions. Billy was very quick to respond to my messages. He was always polite and tried his best to help me to create a RMA. He was also kind enough to extend the RMA time because I was not able to send the laptop back during the weekdays. The RMA was processed quickly. I am very happy with the customer service I received. I will definitely recommend NCIX to my friends and make more purchases in the future. I am especially thankful that Billy was so helpful and supportive in creating the RMA for my laptop! "

I have contacted the service and they reply inside of time of 8 hours and we exchanged 4 times and very helpfull each time. the RMA service is excellent I have contacted Billy and He resolved the problem like a pro. I used cross shipping RMA feature and take only 2 days to receive the board. They respect their politic. I was confident to shop here, but now I'm extremely confident to do my shopping here. I keep an eye out for deals on items I am looking for and found a great price on a motherboard that I was eyeing. On Sunday NCIX was having a super one day sale, $110 off the regular price of $220. I didn't hesitate, I just pulled the trigger. Th eonline order process went smoothly and I received my order confirmation e-mail. I even received an e-mail from my bank asking if I had authorized the purchase, which I quickly confirmed.
On Monday I received an email from NCIX that they had cancelled my order because it was from a Canadian IP address.
I use my US billing and shipping address all the time from retailers including Amazon, NewEgg, TigerDirect, eBay, etc. I just hop in my car, and 45 minutes later I'm in the US with my items in hand and driving back home. At most, if it's a first time order, the retailer will call me to confirm the order and once they do they release the order.
NCIX, on the other hand, decided to outright cancel my order due to security concerns. When I called them to clear it up they said, OK great, you can go ahead an place your order now, just make sure you use a US IP address. When I pointed out the price was a one day sale price they basically told me too bad. I would have to buy it at the regular price.
What kind of service is that? I asked to speak to a manager. The sales rep then started to get rude. She claimed that she had already asked a manager, but at no point during our conversation did she put me on hold or mute for long enough to ask anybody. When I called her bluff she just gave me more attitude. Finally she put me through to a manager, who provided no help and gave me the same story. Then I asked to speak to the manager's manager. He would not put me through and I was told that he would contact me. He told me his name was Chris. I did a quick Google search and found that Chris indeed handled client issues. I sent him a long e-mail explaining my situation and I have yet to hear back from him.
I never had any problems like this from any retailer. Buy elsewhere.
UPDATE:
So Chris from NCIX Canada called me up shortly after I left this review. He explained the delay in getting back to me was because he had been busy dealing with a robbery at one of the stores.Not sure if it was just a coincidence or not.
Either way, after explaining the situation to Chris, he offered to honor the sale price and have the item shipped out to me. So in the end common sense won, but it's still annoying that I had to go through that process. Too bad the whole customer service desk is not staffed by Chris clones.

"I have been incredibly impressed by the after-sale service of NCIX.ca. I buy a lot on the internet (directcanada, hookbag, bhphoto, newegg, tigerdirect, bestbuy to name a few) and even though many of these are very good, I have rarely seen the level of commitment to customer satisfaction I have seen so far with NCIX. It definitely ranks on the top list so far. I bought an ASUS Zenbook i7 on NCIX.ca. The platform, system and shipping were efficient and fast. Unfortunately, the laptop had a defect with the keypad and some scratches that could only have come right out of the factory. I was worried it would be a pain to get things fixed as this was shipped from BC to QC, and I did not know if I would have to deal with ASUS directly or go through any more complicated hassle. I then called the support at NCIX and Billy helped me through each and every step to make it easier and simpler and to make me feel confident and safe along the way. Not only did Billy do the follow-up, sending me quick email replies to each query, he was proactive and already asked me for pictures and different info so he could speed up the process as he was trying to get an RMA from ASUS for me. He helped me with all steps from RMA, to shipping to getting things fixed and sent back in time as I have to leave the country soon. I really felt that he cared and I could see that full customer satisfaction is indeed a true value and priority at NCIX. Thanks to this incredible service, I am now very confident to buy again from NCIX, knowing that not only normally things are impeccable and go smoothly, but that in case of any problem, I can count on them to give real support and truly try to offer the best to their customers and not only 'make the sale and run'. It's always a bit of a frustrating experience having to return a product, but the RMA Department at NCIX made the whole process extremely smooth. "NCIX just earned themselves a repeat customer! After hearing great things about them from LinusTechTips, I purchased 2 Hard Drives on the same day but separate oders. Once I installed the drives, I was very disappointed with their performance (which has nothing to do with NCIX of course). So I contacted customer support to inquire about the possibility to return the drives. Their answer: No problem! They issued the RMA and asked for the drives to be returned within 15 days.
Right then, I was hospitalised. So, I couldn't make the deadline. Once out, I contacted customer support again. I got in contact with Billy who took me through the process, step by step, so that I could still return the drives and sort out the issues created by the fact that I had ordered the drives on two different invoices. Just got the store credit to my account (which is what I asked for since I want to order other drives). Great ending to a story that could have been very painfull.

"I have nothing but praise for NCIX. I have been shopping around to build my own computer for a while, and decided (mistakenly) to shop at Newegg. Bad idea. I had a horrible experience with them. After that, I reluctantly decided to go with NCIX. I will never ever shop at another website for computer parts other than NCIX. I did have a few issues, but Ruth was able to very quickly resolve my issue. The only problem I encountered was when I ordered my optical drive and wasn't notified it was back ordered until 2 days later. They did give me a full refund on the product though. "I received my purchase in good time but when opened I noticed the box was sealed with a label stating 90 days limited warranty. I rechecked the website using the SKU # and reread the product warranty. States "NCIX provides a 30 day limited warranty on this product. The remainder of the 1 year warranty is provided by the manufacturer". Although refurbished it clearly stated this warranty on the website. I contacted tech support and still waiting for an answer regarding the warranty. My advise is to read the warranty and take a screen shot of the page(s) so you a have record. NCIX can change the page at anytime so keep a record of what it looked like at the time you purchase.
Tech support did get back to me promptly about a refund, as I thought I had bought a new product (actually can now get the exact same brand Asus Nexus Tablet NEW from Staples that has no shipping costs so works out to be only a few dollars more than this refurbished product). Realizing this and that the warranty may not be as advertised I requested refund but they would deduct the $15 for shipping and I also have to pay another $30 for the return postage. NCIX will not pay this and has not acknowledge in their reply the discrepancy of the full warranty advertised for this product and the 90 day only warranty on the box.

Update: After this review NCIX did get in touch both by email and telephone. They agreed to make a full refund including the cost of return postage. The refund had now been processed and I am feeling much happier, as the warranty is a big issue. This company eventually did come through and live up to its good customer service reputation for trying to resolve problems. As such I have increased my rating and trust that greater care will be taken in the future to not have errors on the website product warranty or other descriptions. "
