"On December 5th I was researching ASUS monitors to upgrade from my current one. I was pulled into their website based on an advertised range of $40-250 price range on what I was looking for. I purchased the monitor for $42 dollars and two days later received email that it was being cancelled due to a price error. Seems more like a calculated risk due to the shopping season and false advertising would bring in additional customers to their website. They were nice enough to give a 5 dollar gift card that I have 90 days to use at their website."

When asked about the return process, Jonathan was prompt and polite in response. "I bought a Samsung gaming monitor from New Egg that I did not have three weeks and did not use until the third week and then realized there was a crack in the corner of the screen that was not very big but getting larger in which new egg said I needed to contact Samsung who would not honor the warranty and said this was on new egg and that it was ware house or shipping damage and would not be covered and to take it up with New Egg who would not honor it either so need less to say neither one will ever get my money again.."

"TL;DR NewEgg has been my go to company for years anytime I needed computer hardware. This last round of purchases, the customer experience was so bad I will never do business with this company again!
I had two separate ram orders that needed to be returned for hardware compatibility issues (fussy motherboards) and was going to replace them with different/more reliable brands for compatibility (paying an up-charge if necessary); however I was hit with a $12 restocking fee + $12 return shipping for the first order of $102; and a $12 return shipping fee on the second order of $103. Fine; that's crappy; but I can deal.... Then after ~10 days I get an email saying my second return was rejected for a blank reason and that my order will be returned to me. I contact customer service and that told me that it was missing the original bar code (this was OEM ram; no packaging included so no barcode). They suggested that I could try again for another $12 but there was no guarantee that it'd be accepted the second time either. Then I wait for the return shipping info five days later I contact support again asking what gives.... I get a tracking number (the status of my order still says pending return shipping) and the eta is 5-7 days out! so now I'm looking at being out close to $50 with no usable product and a lost month of time and no resolution.... That's insane!"
"I bought a couple of products and shipped them internationally.
They didn't arrive.
I filed a claim, at 24th of October.
We are now in 14th of November, and my last contact with support was like "forget about the 10 days we promised for processing your claim, we will wait the carrier for an unidentified amount of time".
I tried to at least get a maximum estimation of when i get a refund or get my items, but the answer was clear that they don't have a maximum, so I can very well wait for a year, and literally the agent said "We can't rush the carrier"!
My advise, Newegg is a very very reputable american company, but international shipping, my experience is that they worse than the worst local retailer, even the usual and known to be very bad customer support in local retailers in my country is way more supportive than newegg's."
"I purchased a new motherboard. The box didn't seem damaged but when I opened everything up the area where the pins connect to the CPU did seem damaged. I contacted the customer support immediately and explained the situation and they said that they would be able to replace the damaged item. I sent it back the next morning after our online chat. 6 days later I get an email saying that they cannot replace the item and that they will be returning the broken item in 3-5 days? I contacted the customer support service again trying to figure out why. They said that there policy doesn't cover damaged items. Yet I received the item in its state, returned it the day after it was delivered to me? I mentioned that I explained this to the customer service rep the day I received it and they said they could replace it. She recommended I call the manufacturing company instead?!? I feel robbed and I recommend any consumer to stay away from this company, it's a few dollars cheaper but they make there money on sending you broken parts. "
