"Very competitive prices. Fast shipping. Unparalleled customer service. They have helped with any issue far beyond expectations and really take the time to assure the problem is resolved. I'm so impressed. It's hard to to buy all parts from newegg."
"These clowns I really something else I paid for 2 day shipping and they're still sitting on it day 3 saying UPS hasn't picked up the item even though they are a major retailer what do UPS trucks going to be going out of there at least three times a day don't order nothing if you're building something for someone else unless you allow for 5 days for your item they ****"
"Placed order, claimed to be in stock, but not in US but China.
Promised 8/15 day delivery, now one month at least, which means product too late for use.
Had not shipped but refused to cancel.
Do not trust this bunch"
"Ordered a Internal WiFi antenna for my notebook on Feb. 19th. The item was shipping from China which was dealing with a pandemic. So when the estimated delivery time of 8 to 16 days passed, I didn't get excited. After 10 weeks, I reached out to customer service. The rep was pleasant but hamstrung by New eggs poor customer service policies. After three calls, she advised that item was available in local warehouses from the same seller. She happily offered to refund my money, reprocess my order at a 25% higher cost and charge me an extra $8 for shipping. "
"To be clear, my feedback is mostly aimed at NewEgg as I have been very satisfied with a larger Cyberpower battery backup I purchased about 2 years ago (better luck than the APC unit that just died, but was swiftly replaced by APC under warranty). Like many people, I have moved toward the leading global online firms over the past several years. I had not dealt with NewEgg for many years but with delivery service severely disrupted by the Covid 19 crisis I was willing to give both a shot again. A competitor (a type of wild cat direct) came through recently with flying colors on a similar order a week ago. My NewEgg experience was far less satisfying. The order process was easy enough and the items shipped out fairly quickly. NewEgg does seem to send an inordinate amount of email related to a single order, however. Upon receipt, it became clear that the unit did NOT have the RJ11 protection listed in the photos and item description. This is one of the key reasons why I bought this particular unit. So I call NewEgg (takes about 20 minutes to get to a rep) and they disconnect in the middle of the call. I emailed them photos (as requested) with my contact information. Nothing. I tried the "chat" feature which works well with some vendors. Number 41 in the queue for an extended time. Call back again. Takes about 20 minutes to get through. Spoke to a clearly disinterested gent who said they would send me a return label and if the items check out I will get a refund. No apology. No "how can we try to fix this"? No indication that I can see of trying to verify if an item with the correct (advertised) features actually exists. The best part? They seem to be blocking my ability to leave a review of the item (and NewEgg) on their site. This may have been a blessing in disguise as I will never do business with NewEgg again, including as to the upper end laptop I am currently in the market for. Caveat emptor, ladies and gents. "
"Over the years I ordered 1000s of $s worth of hardware from the egg. They were a great company BUT that is no longer true. They've clearly lost it.
Don't know if that is due to their new owner (China) or what. They have no idea where my shipment is, somewhere is China is all they know.
Shop elsewhere.

"I had used newegg.com in past years and had a great experience. So when I needed a new laptop battery, it was the first place I looked for one. I ordered the exact battery for my Dell Inspiron 15 laptop. My credit card was charged and I received a package a few days later. IT WAS THE WRONG BATTERY and did not fit, did not even look similar to the pictured item. The return instructions with the package would have me paying for the return shipping, so I reported this to newegg.com via chat. They agreed and issued an RMA with shipping pre-paid. It was tracked by UPS and delivered. A week later, still no replacement battery, so I reported this to newegg.com via chat (no phone number for the company). They demurred, saying that it was a re-seller (CWK-TECH) and that they would send an email to them. Today I heard back from CWK-TECH that it had not received the battery!! I am attempting to reach newegg.com.
Now I wish I had looked at current reviews of newegg. It has been purchased by an overseas company in 2016, and now has no contact except chat and call back. If I could give -1 stars I would. Stay away from newegg.com."
"I canceled the item before it shipped out they shipped the item. Now I sent a message 12 hours prior to the shipment, but they responded almost 1 hour after shipping the item as if they wanted to ship it regardless. The item was marked to be disposed of by the post office if returned to sender which I told them I was going to reject the item at the post office because I can't print labels. I rejected the item then the post office disposed of the item without my knowledge. I tried to get a refund through ebay but ebay SIDED WITH NEWEGG haha HORRIBLE. Ill never buy from them again, I'll always be weary of ebay and Ill never trust the post office the same again! Now I'm out of almost $80 dollars!!"
"I'm a video editor, and after 17 years as a professional, it finally happened.
My work drive died, with pending projects hanging in the balance. The nightmare.
I found a data recovery service, and they were able to recover 99% of the media. Having always had great luck with New Egg, I picked out a new 6TB drive and sent it to the data recovery people. Sadly, when I got the drive back, it wouldn't mount, so I had to send it BACK to the data recovery guys, who said the drive had failed.
Ugh. But it's nobody's fault; drives fail. So they sent the drive directly to New Egg for a replacement to be mailed right back to the data recovery specialists, saving me precious weeks. (I was only able to do this because New Egg allowed me to add a second mailing address, which was super convenient).
I should explain that all of this was happening *as the Coronavirus was shutting down the whole country*. I feared that the crisis would truly screw me, but both companies managed to stay open. Whew.
It's not over though! The Data Recovery outfit *mailed the wrong drive back to New Egg*. Not just the wrong one - wrong brand, wrong size, wrong everything. Disaster!
But, despite being flooded with customer service requests, New Egg called me back, and was able to forensically figure out what went wrong - with a picture of the drive label, to boot! Talk about being thorough.
So it's still pending, but I was so impressed with the professional wherewithal my rep 'Logan' had, and his extremely thorough sleuthing *during a freaking pandemic* that I just HAD to write a review and give 'em the full 5 stars. Normally, in an absurd situation like this, I'd be ranting and raving, but the rep was so damn good that I have to just laugh and shake it off. Excellent service. Thanks Logan and New Egg!"
"always enjoy shopping here "
"love their products and prices at all time "
"i order everything here gotta love it "
"I had an account with Newegg since 2008. Never had any issues until they decided to block my account. I communicated with Alicia as well as via an online form to have my account unlocked. I never heard a single response from the online form I submitted (did this twice) but heard from Alicia, supervisor.
She informed me their verification dept would not remove the suspension from my account and they would not explain the reason they made my account invalid.
It is clear Newegg doesn't think they need customers. I have found alternative companies who will gladly take care of me.
Newegg just lost another client."
"i love how fast they ship and easy return"
"always happy with my purchase thank you "
"Ordered a 3.5" drive instead of a 2.5" for my ps4 by accident(site is messed up, as I was browsing in their "laptop drive" section...
Received it and send it back unopened to them via RMA. They send me a UPS label that they deduced 36$ for from my total order, so I would have to pay return shipping on the refund I would have had. Already it was not super dooper to me as I felt ripped off but still printed the label and went drop the parcel in the UPS box for return and prepaid labels shippement.
A week after, I received a fishy email from neweggs telling me the UPS label expired!!! Whut?
So I contacted them, and got the worst support converstation in my life. Let me tell you that Rosie V. is the worst, google her, you will find dozens of reddit post, of screenshots on lot of different sites, Where this "Rosie V." just randomly shut down the chat, won't answer questions, and so on, to rip off customers!!!
On my own case, Rosie V. took off all responsibilities of neweegs from first message. Like no, just pay us and shut up style!
No proposition of "we will investigate", or "let me see" nope, nada, not neweggs fault... Even If in the end It is mostly them that made a mistake with a number or something, or that cancelled the label midway. No they aren't resposible for the "LABEL THAT THEY SENT ME"
I am pretty sure a good rep would had at least investigated a bit the issue or at least would have tried to help me with the situations.
Rosie V. seem to have no real experience with people other than being rude with them and not answering questions...
With all the post I had fond on reddit that clearly show Rosie V. avoiding questions and shutting chat down out of nowhere,
she might not even have any experience in slaes rep. or custommer support at all!!! "
