"Very competitive prices. Fast shipping. Unparalleled customer service. They have helped with any issue far beyond expectations and really take the time to assure the problem is resolved. I'm so impressed. It's hard to to buy all parts from newegg."
"great deal on a lap top, call in and ask for specials. Sometimes they have better pricing if they talk to their supervisor for some products. "
"I always prefer buying on Amazon before looking elsewhere, on places like NewEgg. I had a good experience with NewEgg few years ago so I decided to try it again since they carried a product Amazon didn't. What a mistake.
Their site looks great. Easy to navigate, price is clearly shown and ordering is easy. So far so good, right?
The problem with their site is once they make the sale they have zero care about the customer. First of all, never trust the reviews on their site. They push certain products by filtering out bad reviews or reviews that warn the customer not to buy there. Second, they care nothing about your privacy or your satisfaction after the sale.
They get 2 stars for actually delivering the product on time, but their products are low quality. Many of them are Chinese knock-offs, low quality and low price. When you want to reach customer support, they are either very slow or not replying at all, but they do keep sending your their pushy emails sometimes 2 or 3 times per day!
Stay away from this seller. Reviews on ResellerRatings are real, don't fall for cheap prices and cheap quality!
Updated: I added one star , finally got a response from CS and they handled my complaint. Still didn't post my review. I hope they can improve their practices in the future."
"I had multiple issues with the store credit card because of the bank, not Newegg. When I called the bank I could not hear a single thing through the phone and decided to hang up and call Newegg. They not only managed to reverse 2 payments that were declined, but did so immediately and called the bank for me. I was able to purchase my desktop minutes after getting off the phone with them. Huge thank you to Newegg!"
"i love their products so much so good price "
"I bought a premade rig - a tower with the basic necessities. For a starter set, it's not bad . It didn't come with an Optical drive, but I can always add too it later. I wish it at least came with a basic monitor, that's the only downside. I got my package on the exact date that was estimated, so good shipping."
"I purchased a product from the Newegg website and waited 4 weeks for without receiving before I opened a ticket with Newegg customer support. I waited another two weeks for Newegg customer support to resolve it the emails just went back and forth with no resolution. I finally contacted American Express and they addressed the problem immediately. "
"On May 25 I ordered a computer from them. Got a package on June 3, 2020. WRONG ITEM. Spent over 4 hours trying to contact them. Received an RMA and packed the wrong item to ship it back to NEWEGG. They received my return on June 8, 2020 . I have tried in vain to contact their "CUSTOMER SERVICE (NOT)". Finally June 19, 2020 I got an email stating that I am being refunded the price of the computer but not the shipping nor the invoice wherein I billed them $112.50 for the time spent trying to resolve THEIR mistake. MY ADVISE: DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THEM. It is Chinese junk at its worst. They are SCAMMERS!"
"I purchased a motherboard from Newegg in February. When we tried to install the motherboard in our computer it did not work. We had a family friend who is an IT specialist look at it he believed everything was installed correctly. Then we took it to a computer specialist in the area who informed us the motherboard was dead. We contacted Newegg who told us to return it (at our expense) for a replacement. When we received the replacement a month later, it was a refurbished motherboard, not new. We took the motherboard back to the computer guy who attempted to install, but again the motherboard was dead. We contacted Newegg again to get a refund as we were tired of the run around. We were informed we could not get a refund, but could only get store credit. At least this time they paid for shipping. When the motherboard got back to them they said it wasn't a motherboard they sold because the serial number did not match. But we sent them the motherboard in the box they sent it to us in. Since they didn't recognize the product at theirs, they are returning the non-operational motherboard to us. Now I have a $75 motherboard that doesn't work and isn't worth anything, and I still don't have a working computer."
"I never leave negative reviews.....I'm generally understanding when there is a mishap, error, etc....and almost never complain. But in this case, I've been bedazzled by New Egg not just once - but twice, and I'll never order from them again. Prior to my last bad experience in 2017, I was a loyal customer for many years. I didn't even bother looking elsewhere to buy PC components. Three years later, however, I had forgotten about that bad experience and was reminded of it again by the experience I had today. The experience I had in 2017 was literally the exact same situation. Got me once, got me twice, but they will not get me again. I will not support a company with such dishonest, shady business practices who will not change when their customers provide feedback, and I've found many of their previously loyal customers (like me) who have either lowered their expectations of New Egg or have abandoned them all together, just as I am going to do. They have been told about this many times and do nothing.
I just completed a discussion with New Egg's customer service rep. I made an order on the afternoon of Wednesday, 5/20. The estimated delivery date listed, if I opted to pay an extra $11 or so for expedited 2-Business Day shipping, said that my order would arrive on Friday, 05/22. I received several emails, but actually opened up the tracking email today and found that they were not going to deliver the products I ordered until Tuesday, May 26th. I contacted the rep, and they told me that was how the 2-Business Day shipping worked: I ordered on Wed, they shipped on Thurs, Fri counted as one business day, Sat/Sun were weekend days, Mon was a holiday, and Tues counted as the second business day. I'd have the product by the end of Tues. I asked why they would post an estimated delivery date of Friday if they knew all along my product would not arrive until Tuesday, assuming no unexpected kinks in the delivery process? No response except "I'm sorry and am happy to pass your comments on to our customer service feedback team." When they state the estimated delivery date was Friday, and the expedited shipping description states 2-Business Day shipping, anyone else with a brain would assume an order on Wednesday would be shipped on Thursday (Business Day 1) and continue shipping on Friday (Business Day 2), ultimately being delivered by the end of the day on Friday.
I did a quick Google search. Many other people are frustrated with New Egg for this same issue. They post false delivery dates that they know they will never meet to entice customers to:
1) Order from them as they believe they can get the product more quickly than they will.
2) Pay for expedited shipping if they do want it even earlier, though the extra payment WILL NOT result in the product arriving anywhere close to the date they estimated at the time of order. Basically, New Egg is charging customers for expedited shipping, but not delivering in an expedited manner. This is false representation, though they are quick to point out that they do not guarantee their delivery times. Of course they do not....because they are advertising false delivery times!
At this point, as they well know, I have no alternative but to refuse their shipment and refute the charges made to my credit card - or accept the shipment, four days late. They offered no refunds - only words of apology, all the while stating that they knew this all along....but falsely represented the delivery date to me. This was the parts for a PC I planned to build this weekend for a new employee, who will now be sitting with nothing to do until after I stay up all night building their PC on Tuesday so they can use it on Wednesday.
Thank you, New Egg, for being a good company in the early years. Shame on you for flipping about so rapidly and becoming the company you are today. Your founders should be ashamed of themselves."
"Update:
3 hours after posting this RMA was finally approved and a shipping label was created delivery date of 5/21/20. Will see if it actually ships today and arrives on the 21st. 20 days from date of order for a replacement if it arrives then. Will update if it does.

I ordered a monitor on 5/2/20 and received it on 5/520 box was in good condition but the monitor was cracked from the top to the bottom.
Within an hour of delivery I pu in for a RMA for a replacement but had to get to work so I shipped it back to them the next day 5/6/20. The tracking on the return said they received it 5/12/20.
It's now 5/19/20 and they are still inspecting my return. How in the world does it take a week to open a box see the crack and put in for a replacement. That should take 10mins...20 tops. Heck could even understand 2 maybe 3 days.
Tried chatting with customer service got 2 different dates that they said they received the item (the 13th and the 15th) both different from the tracking information from UPS. I was also told wait at least 7 business day before they will even look into what taking so long. So I'll try again tomorrow 5/20/20.
So far it's been over half a month since I placed my order which is ridiculous.
I just going to switch to Amzon for my future tech purchases and will take the 50 friends, family, coworkers and neighbors build, repair and upgrade for with me. For about 12 years I used newegg for myself and them... thousands of dollars a year of parts etc.... well no more if they can't do a replacement in less than a month."
"I have been with Newegg since the days of ZipZoomFly (GoogleGear). (I have done a large amount of business with them). Within the last two months, i ordered two keyboards. The first keyboard (which was supposed to be wired) they replaced the unit with a cheaper wireless version (which didnt include the batteries). I have RMA'd. The second keyboard was advertised as a HyperX keyboard. It was not. The Advertisement for the keyboard even included links to the HyperX site for contact information, Manufacturer, and tech support. It was shipped from China and the packaging was damaged so i can not return it. Contacted seller with regards to driver and they gave me some email address in China (not HyperX).
Never Again!!!"
"Newegg used to be awesome. I used them for all my computer parts for about 20 years. Now I avoid them at all cost. I hate what they've become. The site is convoluted with high priced marketplace junk from the same sellers that ruined eBay. If you decide to sift through all the garbage and see what they are actually selling, you'll find their prices are higher than just about everyone else. They have changed their policies over the years and you really need to read them closely for each product as many different items carry different return policies. My last purchase was a GPU that failed within minutes of being installed. It came with a "free" game that I did not want and could not purchase the card without. Upon trying to rma the gpu, they tried to deduct $60 from the refund for the game. I had to contact them and wait on hold then fight with them to get refunded for the game I did not want or use. Finally get a refund a week and a half later and they did not refund the $10 shipping charge on a defective product returned within 24 hours. That was the final nail in the coffin. Personally, I don't need the headaches dealing with companies like this. Respectable companies refund shipping on defective products. I don't see any value or advantage to buying from Newegg anymore."
"I've purchased numerous items this year from Newegg to build an AMD computer and the parts arrived quickly and in good condition. I then purchased an Asus gaming monitor from them and it also arrived in a timely manner from UPS and in good condition in the box. The second day of operating the monitor it developed a bright green streak at the upper left portion of the screen. Newegg didn't give me any hassle about issuing a RMA and after inspecting it they issued me a full refund even though the transaction stipulated refunds weren't possible. I appreciate that. They went above and beyond for me and I feel confident in shopping with them in the future. The only mistake they ever made with an order I placed with them was wrong memory. I ordered 16 GB of G.Skill DDR3 1333 and they sent 16 GB DDR3 2133. This was more expensive memory than I ordered and I was more than fine with it...lol"
"I was very happy with TIGERDIRECT in the 80's and 90's and the later years until they closed down. I have built lots of computers, purchased near 90% of all electronics from them. On one occasion, I had a warranty issue, and it was honored.
Then Newegg showed up. In the beginning it was ok, but later stated competing with your local swap meets, where anyone with any junk can con people under the newegg brand(?).
Their costumer service pretending to help you, but don't get any illusion, they service only their profit and ignore costumers problems, even when the costumer can physically hurt by selling dangerous products.
Their job is to insulate the fly-by vendors from complaining consumers to keep the business flow. They do not listen to costumers, but they may issue a return label ( in the first 2 weeks) to shut you up, but never follow up on complaints, let other people buy their unsafe junk, hoping that, they may keep it. In that respect they are somewhat superior to Aliexpress, where the warrant is only an illusion.
Unfortunately the new business style of marketing is a swap-meet method, like amazon sells used and useless garbage along with reputable merchandise. The only thing is marketing, marketing and more marketing to to achieve high profit to cover incompetency and super high income for a few, on the ignorance of the public."
"I had an issue with a gpu card not giving me display output of any kind. Mario L. understood my issue and helped to get me the things I needed when I had lost hope. I'm thankful to Mario and to Newegg for having such people as support."
