"Well I have to say initially I was uninmpressed with this vendor, I had all sorts of shipping difficulties and had to phone in to get it straightened out after all the delays ...but when it was all said and done newegg contacted me personally and issued me a huge discount for the headaches....
Honestly I have never encountered that kind of service before, Its one thing to have a mixup..but to go so far out of your way to make it better is really rare, I highly doubt any other vendors would have done the same thing that newegg's staff did for me, it was amazing.

I have just completed building a new computer and as a first time builder I approached this task with much trepidation. After much research I selected NEWEGG as the source of the parts required. My first order was quite large and rather expensive. I was very impressed from the outset with the almost immediate confirmation and tracking information. Living in Canada and ordering from NEWEGG Canada I was surprised to find that although the pricing was in $CDN all but one part of the order was to be shipped from US warehouses. I suspected that this might cause some delay in delivery in that the order would even have to clear Canada Customs, however I was quite pleased that the actual time of delivery was quite good.
Everything was well packaged. Anxiously, I began to build then realized that the PSU ordered had such a bulky unwieldy cabling system that it made it very difficult to fir into the case. A call to Customer Service resulted in an immediate RMA! The emailed UPS RMA label was alkost unreadable produced a copy exactly as the original which could not be accepted by UPS. Another call to Customer Service quickly offered me the option of shipping the unit by any carrier of my choice, and of receiving a refund on submission of my shipment receipts. I had to then contact Customer Service find out how to process this refund and was shepherded through this by agent Nabila Garas. The refund arrived promptly, very shortly thereafter followed by confirmation of NEWEGG’s receipt of the returned PSU, then followed by notification of the refund for that unit.
When the replacement PSU arrived and I began the build when I discovered that a Floppy drive was defective. Customer Service again provided a quick refund and advised me not to return the unit!
I will not hesitate to recommend NEWEGG to anyone contemplating any future purchase, and I will myself, certainly be returning if any other purchases are in the offing."

Prices are consistently better than all others (e.g. NCIX, TigerDirect, Amazon, local shops, etc.).
Usually with lower prices there comes a trade-off in quality of customer service. Not so with NewEgg. I've dealt with their support staff on several occasions (not for technical reasons, but for exchanges, RMA's, etc.), and they ALWAYS ensure that I'm a satisfied customer...and in a manner that couldn't be anymore opposite than the usual apathetic, uncaring, and sometimes jaded attitudes we've come to expect from almost every organization these days. And better yet, they're not outsourced to some other continent!
NewEgg employees seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs, so whatever their secret is I certainly hope they keep it up!
I'm so glad they opened a Canadian site too. No more paying exorbitant "brokerage" fees to couriers who claim that in exchange they expedite shipments across the border, which when compared with the US / Canada Postal services simply is not the case. It's just a money grab, and I am grateful that NewEgg has offered an alternative.

"I am writing to rate Newegg.ca.
I have used the LiveChat feature 3 times on the same order.
The first was used to confirm the delivery address that my credit card company just could not get right. The agent was willing to go the extra mile to process the order while my shipping address was being corrected. By doing this, I was able to get my order confirmed for about $70.00 less than the currently advertised price. When I recieved the UPS tracking number, with the correct shipping address, less than 24 hours later, I knew the agent had made sure the deal was done. If I remember correctly, the agent was Alma.
When the order came in, I noticed the one side was not sealed. Expecting the worst, I opened the package and I found a plug for European countries, but not for Canadian electrical requirements.
I used LiveChat again, this time Jose was assisting me. When I let Jose know that the wrong electrical cord was sent, his response was:
"I must apologize for the inconvenience, would you like a refund or replacement?"
I asked for the replacement, and within a few minutes, the RMA was created. Before leaving the chat, Jose made sure I knew what to expect with the process of the replacement.
After I left the LiveChat, I went to re-pack the contents of my order when I noticed a small box in the bottom of the box shipped. In here, was the correct power adapter, with an other power adapter for somewhere else in the world.
I contacted LiveChat again, Jose answered and was able to cancel the RMA with no hassle, no fuss.
So, my order happened due to a number of little things that made a HUGE satisfaction from my point of view.

"Before I write this review, let me give you some background into myself and my experiences with online computer retailers. I build all kinds of systems on the side while I attend college. It’s a neat little way to make some pocket change, and its always fun to receive high tech toys in the mail. Because I build systems I have to be discerning. I put my reputation on the line with every single component that I order. I also need to keep the price as low as possible; otherwise I make no money on my efforts. I’ve built top-end gaming machines with liquid cooling and sturdy business computers with the highest levels of physical and digital security available, and everything in-between. I’ve used many online retailers over the years, including Tiger Direct, Direct Canada, and many others. But I am writing this review to tell you about one company that stands head and shoulders above the others: Newegg.
The first place to start is prices. Newegg consistently has the best prices on practically every single type of hardware, net-wide. I’ve often cross-checked items with other sites and I’ve seen savings as high as 25%. It’s gotten to the point where when I am planning a new system I don’t even bother to check other sites. I trust that Newegg has competitive prices, and with their other benefits there is simply no reason to go elsewhere. An additional point to take note of is that their discounts rarely include rebates. Rebates are unreliable and often take a very long to time to process, sometimes up to 3-4 months. Sometimes they never get processed at all. At Newegg discounts are applied at checkout, and you do not need to worry about whether or not you’re really going to get the deal.
Newegg’s shipping is top-notch. It’s cheap and most importantly fast. I’ve had items arrive at my door 36 hours after ordering them. Given that their warehouses are in the states and I live in Canada, this is a big deal. Naturally my customers appreciate such speed, as do I. The other big benefit of Newegg is that they offer integrated package tracking on their website. Not only is it extremely convenient to be able to check a particular component’s progress with a single click (and avoid the annoyance of copy-pasting tracking numbers over to the slow and clunky UPS site) but Newegg’s information is updated hours before the shipping company’s. I don’t know how they manage that, but it’s impressive.
The product selection that Newegg offers is impressive and often all encompassing. I’ve been able to purchase complete systems (that includes monitor and case), while when I used other sites I’ve often had to hunt around at other retailers to get the components I wanted. The savings that you get by buying everything in the same order are considerable, and I’ve rarely ever wanted a component that Newegg did not carry. The other amazing feature that Newegg offers with respect to selection is their incredible user reviews and search system. It takes no time at all to drill down to the type of component you want with their guided search and their advanced search is incredibly detailed. If you’ve ever had to search through 5 pages of nearly identical RAM looking for one with the timings you wanted, you’ll understand how useful being able to search by practically any criteria is. This makes selection quick and easy. The review system is even more useful. As any computer buyer knows, the manufacturer’s claims are often exaggerated and the official reviews are usually conducted on only one item. In a mass manufacturing industry like computer components being able to see four hundred people’s experiences with a particular item is invaluable. In fact, I have found Newegg feedback forums to be far more accurate, representative, and thorough a resource than any other site on the web. It’s good enough that if a friend asks me what part to buy, I can tell him to search Newegg for it and sort his results by highest average rating. I cannot stress enough how fantastic a resource for product selection their reviews are. It completely takes the gambling element out of a purchase.
The final thing I have to say about Newegg is also the most important. Newegg cares about you. I know it sounds corny, but they know and operate on the principle that in the long term, a happy customer is worth more than a single sale. I’ve had them take back an opened product on faith while giving me a full refund for it, at a significant financial loss for them, more than once. Their return policies are the most generous and forgiving in the industry, and I have yet to see a single review or complaint from someone sayings Newegg treated them badly. They have, hands down, the best customer service I have ever had the pleasure of using. Emails are replied to within hours, and their online chat support is usually instant. The representatives themselves are incredibly helpful, friendly, and polite. I can honestly say that I have never, ever, contacted their support and come away with my issue unresolved.
This review may seem too positive, but trust me, it’s the truth. I’ve literally spent thousands and thousands of dollars at Newegg and I’ve never ever come away disappointed. They really are the best, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

My first order from NewEgg, I found it to be quite easy to find what I needed. The categories were laid out nicely and easy to navigate. I was able to search brands, price ranges , everything that I needed to make the proper purchases. Also, I was able to look at reviews for the product in question, so I could make an educated buy. The ordering system was easy to go through and I was checked out quickly. The shipping prices were very reasonable and I was happy to see they included the necessary fee’s to import my product into Canada so I would not be faced with any nasty customs fees. When I contacted support to make sure they asked my Credit Card Company for my Secondary address they responded quickly and the order verification process went through smoothly. With standard shipping my order shipped on the 24th and arrived on the 26th which is very nice. The product was packaged perfectly and my item had no damage. The inclusion of a Egg shaped cloth was an added bonus.
