"I ordered an Olympus Zuiko 70-300mm lens for the excellent price of $285 + tax + shipping for a total of $311.01.

The next day newegg emailed me a 10% off any order coupon, although it was not valid for orders made the day before. I used their livechat customer service function, and Viola agreed to credit me back the $28.50 once I received the order.

"I was set to order a Silverstone chassis but the shipping cost was prohibitive. I picked up the phone and called the NewEgg 800# and within minutes they took close to 50% off the shipping charge. I am now happy thanks to the good customer service they provided. Now a week later i have the item and love it. Thanks to those at the Egg that care"

"I have never done a review in my life before this and it will likely show. However, the after sales service and the prices of the following online store brings me to write this review, if one can call it that.

I was recently looking for some memory cards made by Kingston, as they have a lifetime warranty on many of their products, including the one I was buying. I did an extensive search, for hours, and finally came across Newegg.ca, as I live in Canada. I was very pleased to find them at a price less than two other well known web sites for their low pricing. The Newegg price was $16.49 (CAD) and the closest competitor was eBay at $25.00 (USD) plus S&H. I had never before heard of Newegg.ca but decided to take a chance, based on everything I had seen on their web site, to buy this product from Newegg.ca. When I received the product I did not open it until I received the Samsung ST550 camera that I had previously ordered somewhere else. To my shocking surprise, I had the full size SD SDHC class 4 memory cards, three (3) of them, and I needed the SDMicro SDHC class four memory cards. I realized that I had made the mistake of ordering the wrong cards and of course, unknowingly, as I had NOT seen the camera yet. I called Newegg.ca customer service and informed them of this fact. Without ONE PROBLEM or even a "HICCUP", they issued me a RMA and other info to return the wrong cards back to them. They informed me that they were going to be giving me a FULL REFUND, including S&H, for the wrong item. They also told me to send back the wrong item anyway I wanted to and they would also reimburse me for the cost of the return S&H. WoW!!! They were treating this as if they had made the mistake and it was my mistake.

I have NEVER been treated as well anywhere else before and I was so pleased that I have now replaced the order again for the correct product and it's on it's way to me. Once again I checked the competition and the price from Amazon.ca, for the identical item, was $31.99 and the price from NCIX.com, for Canada, was $34.99. Newegg.ca's price was $18.99 for the identical same product. When one does the math it is $13.00 less than the closest competitor. The products pricing is unheard of and the S&H, to my area near Vancouver BC, is only $11.16. I have no problem with any of the above and only praise them for it. The best part of good prices is the after sales "ARE THEY STILL THERE" question?? The answer to that lays above and is a definite YES!!! The after sales service is certainly there and no sight of it ever leaving. I was told by Newegg.ca staff that they have just recently opened a Canadian warehouse and I guess that is the Canadian address that I shipped the wrong product back to, as it was a Canadian address and should be for a .Ca company.

To sum things up, when they did one thing wrong, which was very minor, a supervisor stepped right in and did everything necessary, that he could do, to make it right and also with followup afterwards. He did everything he promised he would do and kept his word and followed it through to a VERY satisfactory and happy conclusion.

My vote is that this company is going to get my continued support by me shopping there for the needs I have if they carry the item I want to purchase, in the future. Of course, they will ONLY get my continued support as long as the only changes they make are to even get better!!! It's a pleasure doing business with a company like companies used to be, and this one still is, and that is why I say that I hope that it never changes but only to get better, when they do make any changes. They are so interested in ones feedback, as well, so they get a report card so they know what to change to become even better.

Newegg, when you are number one, in the industry of online stores, PLEASE remember how you are getting there...NEVER forget the customers, like me and others, that are helping to make you number one, someday soon. Please don't make the mistake of a certain computer company that is or has been number one. They treat some of their customers, now, in an opposite way that they used to. This is why I just stated what I did above. When companies do what this computer company has done...I just walk away and seek out another computer company that wants to become number one and I do my part in trying to help them succeed in that endeavor. In other words, Newegg, NEVER forget your customers and how you will one day get into number one status! :o) Also, be prepared for the "Growing Pains" that could be coming or maybe are already here.

Keep going Newegg and NEVER CHANGE, except to get even better! Thank you for looking after me so well and a job that has been done so well. You will be seeing a lot more of me in the future.

Newegg gets my highest award and reward...a five ***** STAR rating from this customer!!! Go Newegg!!!

"I was contacting by newegg and got everything fixed up. 5 stars to newegg customer server.






I ordered a DFI LP DK X48-T2RSB PLUS 775 Motherboard Retail... And they sent me an open boxed.. it was in some other motherboard box with all the seals broken... and some parts where broken... I called them about it and they didn't want to do anything about it. Pretty much said i have to pay for a new one... HORRIBLE!!! Wrote this view in frustration as newegg.ca just ignores my order number now... and when they say they will call back they don't... just totaly advoiding me... Someone should take them to court for this crap seriously and it wasn't like my order was a cheap one either i spent over 700$ just on this order...

"My first order from Newegg was a 5-phone Panasonic DECT cordless set. This item was ordered on September 23 and UPS delivered it to my door in Ontario at 4:00 PM on September 25. This is absolutely awsome service - there is no way that I expected it to be delivered this quickly. The price of this phone set was very good and it is everything I wanted it to be. "I did my first purchase from newegg.ca on Aug-30 and send out the paypal payment. My fund in paypal was all in $US dollars. But I was charged with $cdn from my credit card instead of funds available in paypal. I talked to the on-line live support and was able to cancel my order within a minute. I then transfer my fund from US$ to cdn$ and then re-order the same item. The price dropped after the order was canceled and I was able to get the new lower price.

4 days later, I received the item (Vancouver, BC) no problem. 3 days after I had it, they decided to drop another $10. I talked to on-line live chat again, they decided to refund me for the difference. I was amazed. As for on-line vendor, newegg.ca is simply awesome and much better than any of the local retail shop like Futureshop or Bestbuy.

For this, I will definitely make more purchase from newegg.ca.

"I recently completed my first order from NewEgg.ca. Admittedly, I was skeptical about the level of service from an online retailer offering prices so low. I was referred to the site by another website (not related to NewEgg) claiming to provide a "promo code" for their already low prices. The promo code didn't work because, as it turns out, it wasn't authorized by NewEgg.ca. However, after friendly and informative correspondence with the customer service staff, THEY GAVE ME THE DISCOUNT ANYWAY as a customer service gesture!

All products were received quickly (within a couple of days) in excellent working condition and their prices were outstanding. They've earned my trust and I'd highly recommend them to others looking to buy electronics online.

Well done, NewEgg! Your customer service with me was truly "Eggceptional!" Keep up the great work!

"I just wanted to express my happiness with Newegg.ca - specifically a rep named Jean L. Cossette. What happened was this: I accidently canceled my order and the credit card company refused to release my funds for several weeks (horrible, right?). So my friend Jean faxed and e-mailed loads of information to release the funds and I could re-order the laptop I needed.

Now I'll have the laptop in time for my work power point presentations for military recruiting! Jean didn't have to do this and could of been a jerk and told me to wait, but instead, Jean took some time, fulfilled my request and let me know through e-mail step-by-step.

Jean deserves a promotion and raise! Newegg.ca needs more reps like Jean. I'm very satisfied with Newegg.ca - So satisfied I placed another order and plan on placing many more.

"I placed an order from Newegg.ca and for some reason my credit card wouldn't authorize. Newegg was very responsive to the problem (which ended up being on the credit card side; not Newegg!). To top it all off, Newegg paid my shipping fees for the inconvenience; even though it wasn't their fault. Customer service is a lost art so it is a real treat when a company like Newegg goes out of their way to make you feel like they value your business. If you want customer service, this is the site to shop!!

"I live in Canada and was concerned about how returns of defective product would be handled if I bought from Newegg. I recently purchased two wireless routers and both of them had defective LAN ports. I cringed at the thought of having to deal with this return. When I went to the Newegg support site, I was pleased to see that they had live chat as an option. Within 15 minutes of starting a chat with their support staff, I had RMA numbers, pre-paid UPS labels and detailed instructions. Very nicely handled and very empowered support staff. I will be back and Newegg has joined my list of sites that I check for pricing when I'm shopping for tech toys."
