"I have sold a few Apple devices to Nextworth and every time it has a great experience. There was an issue with one of my trade-ins and they helped solve it."
"I would like to thank u and the company personally for the honest and trustworthy transaction you have given me. Your honesty regarding my product and the monetary final value offered supercedes all my expectations and holds my opinion of your company to its highest regard. Thank you for being a reputable company. Happy Holidays!

"Not much of a gadget person and I sold the only one I had (An iPad 3 16GB) during the first week of November 2013. The quote offered by stores for cash in hand was $165 at its maximum in Gamestop. Nextworth was offering me $187 + 5% if I opted for a discover prepaid card payment + 10% bonus coupon that I found online equaling at $216. This was way more than any other store. Keep in mind this is cash. I am not obliged to shop at a specific store because of a voucher. The inspection was done in 3 days (over the weekend). It took 10 days for the prepaid card to arrive via post but I tell you its worth the wait. This is money guys. And in gadget industry, not everything holds value for long. Every $ counts. Nextworth is awesome. Quick customer service also. "
"I was displeased with the review/inspection of my phone by Nextworth, but was able to recieve full quoted amount after calling for clarification. This is sketchy to me, and not consistent with past experiences with Nextworth. I was happy with the end result, but am not as confident in the company as I once was. I will likely use Nextworth at Target in the future due to the discrepancy."
"I was initially disappointed to receive an email stating that my quote would be downgraded for no apparent reason. However, after contacting customer support they apologized for their inspector's mistake on two of the phone and my mistake on the third (I accidentally sent one 4 instead of a 4S). I wish they took a little more time/attention to get it right the first time, but things happen and customer support was able to quickly resolve the issue. "
"I had an excellent experience with NextWorth on reselling my Iphone 4s recently. Due to the late shipping from Apple of my Iphone 5S, my 30 day quote from NextWorth expired. In the meantime, the price quote dropped precipitously so i called customer service. Amanda in customer service was fantastic to work with and understood the issue and worked with me to resolve it. I will certainly be back!

"So far very unsatisfied. The process started well, sent in my iPhone 4, and the phone was inspected promptly and I got an email on 10/11/2013 saying they inspected the phone and will pay me the full quoted price. It says in the email "Please allow up to 10 business days for your payment to be processed, we will issue you an email notification when it is sent." Well 10 business days passed I never got anything, so I emailed them on 10/29 to check, and got a response saying the check is still on it's way and if I don't get it by 11/1 email them again. Well today (11/1) I email them again, they claim a different story saying the check was mailed on 10/15. Well I never got any email saying it was sent and I certainly didn't get any check. Now they say I have to confirm again if I can't locate the check (as if it's all my fault), and they will cancel the check and reissue it, no doubt taking another 10 business days I am sure. Total BS! I hate dishonesty more than anything. If you don't plan on paying for a month, say it up front! Never using this site again."
"I've seen several poor reviews for NextWorth and I'd just like to say that my experience with them has been wonderful. I even found a referral coupon that increased my trade-in value.
A word of warning for all of these services is that you must pay attention to the details of the transaction. Some folks complained that NextWorth didn't pay their full quote but the individuals hadn't lived up to their obligation to ship the device in by the specified date.
I contacted their Customer Service department twice for additional details before I shipped the product and both times they responded quickly and courteously.
I would certainly consider doing business with NextWorth again.

"I have used nextworth several times and have never been disappointed. They always deliver on my full payment as I send what I outlined in my quote. If you are truthful about the condition of your item, in my experience, you receive what you are offered on your order.
I have also earned an additional $40 referring friends to nextworth which is a win win.
I will use them again."
"Sent in a pristine / excellent condition iPhone 4S Black 64GB ATT, originally quoted at $245. Received email last night that upon inspection they would offer me $160. I immediately tried to call this morning (and several subsequent times) and no one is answering the phone or returning calls. I have sent two emails to customer service with no response. Their offer email from last night indicates I have two business days to reject their offer, or they will proceed with payment. However, they have already sent $160 to my PayPal account in less than 12 hours of sending me their offer. ***Update*** I received a callback later in the day, they apologized for not being able to call back sooner. I explained that I did not want to accept their offer; they stated that the offer was reduced because the quote had expired before they received the iPhone. However, since they acknowledged that the iPhone was in perfect condition, and rather than having to track it down and send it back, they offered to pay the full amount and send the additional funds to my PayPal. I was concerned by the reduced offer and initial lack of response, but I appreciate that they honored the offer after discussing it with me."
"I recently sent my Old Nexus 7 to recycle as it was damaged and was quoted 40$ on the site. But NextWorth upon receiving my Nexus 7, stated it was worth 0$ and I had promptly asked to return my device to which they said, they will immediately return. However I have not got back my device and do not get any response from them.
NextWorth in short is a Fraudulent company who are prone to Cheating Customers/"
"Nextworth's customer service is exceptional, I had a coupon that I didn't apply correctly at the time I set up my trade but Joanne was able to get it taken care of.
They offer more money for your trade and again, the customer service is the best I've seen. "
"This is my third transaction with Nextworth, and I continue to be impressed with their efficiency, customer care and with the reimbursement rates for the phones. They have been permanently bookmarked."
"I've used NextWorth once before and never had any issues, but this time the process has me stressed and fearful. I sent in two phone 5, one is 64GB black and the other 16GB black. Now, as an Apple technician at an Apple retail store myself, I can understand when customers perception of the condition of their phone are a little more glamorous than true inspection. So I have to say, with reserve, that my 64GB phone is flawless. As in, there should be no flaw on that phone. not even a scratch. The 16GB phone was my girlfriends, and the only thing there should be were very light scratches on the display. I received my initial quotes on 9/07 and 9/08 for $451 and $374, shipped my phones out on 10/03 before the 30 day mark, contacted Customer Service out of concern bout the packages arriving beyond the 30 day mark who reassured me they go by the ship out date and I'd be fine, and received this on 10/11:

Huge drop in value. The email makes it out that the condition is the reason for the drop, which would mean they are ripping me off. Otherwise, the most logical thing is the people inspecting the phone arent on the same page as customer service about where the 30 day line is drawn, and dinged me for it. I presume thats the case since I went through the next worth.com website that Friday and the price quote for a 64GB iPhone 5 plus my promo code was exactly $336.
Here's the scary part. I sent an email inquiry out back to customer service on friday within an hour of receiving the quote- no response. I assume they are off Sat Sun so I just went on, stressing out for those two days. But today, if you call their customer service line, you get a message that goes like:
"Please hang up and call gazelle.com to sell your phone. Do not waste your time with this (NextWorth) company as you will not get as much money as they said you would, and will receive a check for way less than you would or should be getting for your phone, if you get any money at all."
This happens even if you call the corporate line and try the operator. Seems like the company is going through a lot of frustrated customers, one took the time to hijack their phone system?
Anywho, I sent a second email attempt to get any help, and will post a new review (or edit this one if possible) depending on the outcome.
UPDATE 10/16
So, after posting the review, I would occasionally try calling customer service throughout the day. They finally got rid of the unfortunate automated message but never at all did my phone calls and voicemails ever get returned. I I gave up and waited for the next day. The following day a customer representative responded to my emails, mainly in concern with my review on this website, and assured me I would be credited the full quote. Indeed, later that day, my Paypal account received the full amount I was quoted.
In retrospect, I would summarize this situation not as the best moment for the company, based on the phone system situation and lack of timeliness for customer service to respond. But because they adjusted the outcome to find a resolution for me, this action brought my faith back in their service, albeit, with more caution. I would give the company another chance with future trade ins, because, the past two times, NextWorth does offer the best price quotes compared to Gazelle. I would probably plan shipping out the devices a full 7-9 days in advance, and make sure you document your device's serial number and photo evidence of the quality so you can back your claims up. 3/5 stars this time, Nextworth, but let's see what happens when the new iPad rolls around..."
"I tried out NextWorth for the first time and I am super impressed! We had gotten a quote for $90 and once NextWorth received it, we got an email saying that after evaluating the device, they would give me $170! I was totally shocked. It would have been easy for NextWorth to have just given me $90 and I would have known no better. This one example has made me a customer for life. Thanks NextWorth!"
