"Horrible customer service it took many csr telling us many different things to finally get to a resolution. By the way, there is only one supervisor so when the put you on hold and someone comes back and says that they are a supervisor if their name isn't Jimmy they are flat out lying to you. we sent a defective plane back which we were going to have to eat the original 17.90 paid for shipping, plus the return shipping, plus the 15% restocking fee. so we opted to mail back the plane and upgrade we mailed the plane it got there on Sat which of course they are not open. USPS has left three notices and they still have not signed for the package. after finally talking to a john he said that the second plane would be mailed out that day but we heard so many different things i was sceptical but sure enough within the hour we received an email from UPS that we had a package coming from them. they still have yet to pick-up and sign for the returned plane. "

"I live in Kentucky, placed my order for a charger/ balancer and a ESC on Sept 20, 09 to be shipped UPS ground, and received it Sept 25, 09. It was exactly what I ordered and it was very well packaged.

My hats of to them, especially considering my concern with all the negative things I've read. But what can I say, a good price and good service! Does it get any better?

"Great plane, as I expected"

"This purchase was not a pleasent experince.
Upon assembly the front landing gear hardware was defective. I waited two weeks after making contact with the Nitro team before the part arrived.
Once I received the replacment front landing gear and put the plane in the air the ducted fan motor failed and I had to land dead stick.
It's been 2 months of back and forth with the Nitro team. They first thought the problem was a defective ESC unit so they sent me one of those. The problem was not corrected so they sent me a whole fan / motor unit replacment. There was not enough power to get the plane in the air.

I sent that fan unit and the esc that they sent out back and asked them for another unit. They did send another unit but still the same problem. A plane that will not get off the ground.

Today 17SEP2009 they responded to me that the 30 day warantee is up and there is nothing else they will do for me to resolve this problem.

All I was expecting was to buy a ducted fan electric plane and spend the few months of summer flying it.

This is not a product I would buy again and the Nitro Model plane team is not a group that I would ever deal with again."

"Fast delivery. Arrived on the projected day. I was happy to see the prompt delivery. My Corsair F4 was packed very well. No damaged parts. Assembly was straight forward. Only had a slight problem with placing the rudder guide rod into the rubber grommet in the servo arm. If the matal rod was 1/8 of an inch longer, I could have easily inserted it into the grommet. This is my first electric and I'm having problems with "Binding" the transmitter with the receiver to make the servos work. I'll just ask one of the electric experts in the club how to do this. The instruction book has a different procedure than the sheet of paper that came with the model. I'm confused. Other than that, I like the way the model looks. I feel for the price, it is an excellent deal. I can't wait to fly it."

"The directions are a little difficult to comprehend, I did manage to assemble it with a little improvation. First time flying: crash, broke nose off the A-10. Repaired with packing tape. Underpower, battery is too weak for anything longer than a couple of minutes at best. Probably needs more power, better directions, otherwise it seems to work OK. Just a little disappointing to see it can only fly for maybe four full minutes before power is insufficient to keep it up in the sky. "

"This plane can't even get off the ground! I tried both sized props, recharged the battery and checked everything over but it still acts like a car not a plane! So far no help from the company and from what I can find I am not going to get help from them. This has to be the worst purchase I have made. It is so under powered it isn't funny. They are ripping people off selling these things. They need to stand behind them and do something about it or stop selling them. I can not recommend buying anything from them at this time."

The plane is GREAT as it is my first RC plane so as one can imagine that it took a hard crash twice. The plane weathered the crash extremely well all I had to do was re-adjust the prop so that it stopped hitting engine plate screws. GREAT PLANE & PRICE!"
