"Was looking forward to some nice meals to cook at home during the quarantine. It took almost 2 weeks to receive and when I finally got the purchase the quality has definitely gone down hill. The filets were tiny with a decent amount of fat in them and the delmonico burgers had a jelly substance around them after taking out of the individual packages. I haven’t tried the sirloins yet but I’m not very optimistic after what was tried so far. It’s a shame I remember the quality was better in the past. "

"We had a small problem with freshness on an order that was shipped amid the peak of the Corona virus fiasco.
I called to speak to a customer service agent and was asked to leave a number to be called back. During the actual call the agent not only took care to listen to my problem, he also agreed to reshipping the entire order even though I told him that it was not necessary. What a fantastic gesture. What a company!!!!"

"Ordered a ham for Easter. You would think for the price that the quality would be excellent. Ham was definitely a disappointment. The ham arrived the day after Easter (thanks) even though it was ordered close to 2 weeks in advance. Filets were decent, but the sides were small and unremarkable. Last time I order from OS."

"I have never been so disappointed in a product. Always heard great things about the brand. My daughter sent this package to me for my birthday. I saved the steaks for a time we needed aa break from these days of quarantine. The steaks had fat and gristle on them. "Our daughter sent us a package of Omaha steak products for Christmas. The hot dogs were outstanding and I actually ordered some more of them. The hamburgers were okay, well worth 3 or $4 a pound, not 30 or $40 a pound. The steaks or nothing special. Particularly disappointing or the chicken fried steaks. I suppose the heavy dose of pepper was to disguise and distract one from noticing that they were mainly getting a flower coating on some piece of indescribable flesh. I would give five stars to the coolers the company uses."

"Very small portions and the quality of the meat was very poor. Steak and pork chop both had gristle. Scalloped potatoes tasted liked instant with cream cheese to disguise. The apple tarts were the one exception. They were small but very tasty. I tried this company due to being house bound even though it was expensive thinking it would be a good option. It was not. Also did not receive notice of local delivery. Was delivered a day early. Will not buy from Omaha again. "

"I have been buying from Omaha Steaks for decades and have given many filet mignons combos as Christmas gifts but no more. I recently placed an order and was looking forward to trying it out. Unfortunately I was sorely disappointed with the filet mignon as well as the "boneless" pork chops. The filet mignon was loaded with gristle and, believe it or not, there was a bone in my pork chop. For the amount of money charged for these orders I was shocked at the poor quality cuts of meat received. I am sorry this has happened as I have always given 5 star reviews in the past. "

"They're thin and look nothing like the picture. These are barely 1" thick, so they cook fast so you're not going to get that nice rare middle unless you just seer it on both sides and put in on the plate. Very unimpressed. I have a bunch of other meat I haven't tried yet but thought I would have filet mignon on my birthday since we're stuck inside. blah"

"It would take a book to explain the screw up on just this last order alone. The order was placed and the auto fill used my address in FL but a town of Huntley IL. When I got the email stating it had shipped sure enough the address my street address but the town of Huntley. I immediately called cust ser ( and after a 1 hr wait) and was told that it couldnt be changed. So since my daughter lives in Huntley IL I gave them her address and was told it would go there, no problem. Well on Monday morning I received a text from fedex that the item was enroute to Huntley with delivery scheduled for 4/08. Later on Monday at about 6pm I got another text from fedex that the delivery was moved up to 4/07. Ok no worries right? This morning at 6:54 AM I receive another text from fedex that states the delivery has been changed to thurs 4/09 because the address had been changed and was being rerouted to FL. Now the items will arrive in FL God knows when, and be thawed and spoiled."

"Received a package as a gift including 4 steaks, baked potatoes, chicken and beef franks. Tried two tenderloins for dinner tonight. So gross!! The steaks were tough, fatty and so thin! Potatoes had no taste at all. Can't believe this company has the nerve to charge this much for their product. "I wasn't impressed when I placed an order 6 years ago but I hoped that things would have improved over time, they haven't. Placed my order on a Thursday, it was picked up on Monday at 12:00 am in N.J. I live 4 hours away in Maryland. My steaks left N.J. on Monday evening and went to Kentucky therefore missing their Tuesday delivery date. Called Fedex and spoke to a csr and her supervisor, both who were adamant that this was their normal shipping route. I then called Omaha steaks and after a 20 min wait finally spoke to a csr who refunded my purchase price and said I could keep the meat, sounds fair.Two days later i receive a notice about the refund, it for the meat only and not the shipping so I'm being forced to reward the incompetence of Fedex plus the meat still hasn't been delivered, I would think 84 hours not being in a freezer truck should have ruined this meat, never again."
