"I placed an order for Father’s Day on June 5. The order was suppose to be delivered to my dad Wednesday June 10th. Needless to say the order just arrived June 15th... SPOILED AND RUINED!!! My dad’s day is ruined. I will not order from them ever again. I am so upset."
"I have ordered repeatedly and get emails from them with offers and order invoices but that email account doesn't show up. I guess the family that own's this company kid is in the basement with a single computer which constitutes their IT department.

"I ordered from Omaha because my mother used to years ago and loved it. My husband and I just unpacked our first order and were so disappointed. The servings are so small that my husband cooks 2 just for HIS dinner. My friend also tried it when I told her how much I was getting for the price. She called me this morning and asked me if I realized yet why it was such a low price and unfortunately, I did. She has a huge family with 4 boys and her husband. The portions are ridiculously small. I should've read the reviews first but I saw what my mother used to get and obviously omaha has changed, not for the better. I would not buy again and I would not recommend Omaha steaks. I hope they taste good."
"My father paid good money to give us an assortment package from Omaha steaks. What a waste of money. Small portions, wasteful packaging, and NO flavor. The only think I liked was the apple dumplings. Also the pork chops were very tender. However, they don't give good directions on how to properly cook most things they ship so a good cut off meat can end up tough if you don't know a little thing like how long to cook it. Just saying, not everyone is a chef. Don't get the potato puffs, yuck."
"Tried to order over $400 worth of beef in April 2020. For $50 to get free shipping I thought joining was a good idea. They could not get my order correct and kept adding shipping on and would not give the rewards and free product I had coming.
The customer service corrected the order quickly and I got a shipping date. That date changed to 3 days later a couple days prior to my arrival date. No big deal! The next day it moved another week out. Then next day it moved to yet another week out. I then contacted customer service to cancel immediately and refund my membership. They were prompt in my cancellation of the order but refused to refund the $50 membership. Lesson learned! I found the KC steak company has wonderful beef products and does not try to shove side dishes and deserts down your throat! Stay Away from Omaha!"
"I am very surprised at the bad reviews I am reading here about Omaha Steaks. We ordered for the first time in April because we don’t want to go inside a grocery store during the Covid-19 pandemic. We have had two orders so far, and are about to place our third. We have ordered steaks, burgers, hot dogs, fish, pork chops, bacon and chicken. Multiple different side dishes, and desserts. The pineapple upside down cakes are the best! After we place an order, it is at our doorstep within 5 days. Very carefully packaged, labeled, and frozen. Everything we have had so far has tasted amazing. The portions are not too small, they are just right. The pork chops were at least 2 inches thick, so thick that we had to cut them in half to cook them. The bacon was also so thick and incredible. We have nothing negative to say about Omaha Steaks. I called one time and they were extremely pleasant and helpful on the phone. I am so grateful that we have this option to get fresh, great tasting food delivered. LOVE them! "
"I'm shocked at so many negative comments. While I do think they are a tad overpriced, the quality of the meats makes purchasing worthwhile. The steaks are just a bit underneath prime cuts from BJs or Costco, but still quite delicious. I have been eating the hot dogs and hamburgers for years and they are the best and just taste healthier. This last order was the first time I tried the chicken breast, and while they were small they are definitely a noticeably higher quality over Perdue and Tyson. "
"I was excited to receive Omaha Steaks as a gift, but very disappointed in the meat products. The steaks were very thin, not thick as shown on TV, and they did not have much flavor. The pork chops were marinated so the flavor was good, but they were also very thin. Although the flavor was OK, it took 2 hamburger patties to create one burger of a reasonable size. I have not tried the hot dogs yet.
The best parts were the double stuffed potatoes and the apple/caramel tartlets! Those were both very good.
Since this was a gift, I don’t know what the cost was, but I really feel that the quality of the meat products needs to improve - or the ads on TV need to accurately portray the product that is received. After trying these products, I would not order from the company on my own.

So disappointed, called customer service with no results, their site is saying one thing FedEx tracking saying something else. It shipped on 5/5 five days later who wants it now. "Received my order today. It arrived warm! Dry ice was completely gone. One of the steaks was brown! Had to throw them all away. Contacted customer service and be response. I was home when delivered so they can’t say it sat out all day. "

"I listened to the radio station in my area, 95.5, WSB in Atlanta. They advertised Omaha Steaks with free shipping if the purchase exceeded $69.00. I thought this would be a good deal with Mothers Days coming up. I went to the website and found free shipping only available if you spend $159.00 or more. OK so I called the 1-800 number only to be told the $69.00 special sold out. OK, I can understand this based on the current world we live in. The customer service person advised me the next special available for free shipping was a $99.00 special and provided me with several codes to select from. Again I went to the website to order only to be advised these codes are not valid.
I used to order from Omaha Steaks in the past, but since stopped due to the excess charge for shipping. I thought I would try again and to my surprise I was disappointed again.
I know I am only one person in the big picture but Omaha Steaks has LOST my business in the future.

"I ordered what should have been a roast for $200. MY FAULT for not seeing the size of the piece of meat. I never received an order number, I never received an invoice. I did receive a tiny piece of meat. I feel completely taken advantage of. While I never got a e-mail about the order itself, it is clear they do have my e-mail as they are constantly sending me promotions. Maybe I would have seen better noticed the order I placed for TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS was a piece of meat less than 1.5 lbs .
Just mind boggling how I could have messed up this badly ."
