"I placed four orders for delivery before Christmas 2018. I was told if the orders totaled a certain amount we would receive 4 $20.00 rewards cards. When I did not receive the cards I called. I spoke with a customer service rep. named Ryan. He reviewed my orders, said yes we were entitled to them, there was no expiration date on them, and we could use them on one order (stack them). He said we would receive them via email in a couple of days.
When I did not receive them I called customer service again. Now I am being told that because my order did not fall within their "Holiday schedule" that my order didn't qualify for the rewards, and that since my email wasn't registered with them I also could not receive the rewards card and THE REWARDS CARD HAVE AN EXPIRATION DATE OF 2/15/19 AND I CANNOT USE THEM ON ONE ORDER (STACK THEM). This is all contrary to what I was told when I placed my order.
So the takeaway from this experience is that no matter what you are told when you are placing your order know that they lie to get the order, and when you call them on it they have all sorts of exceptions that they never mention to you when you place the order.
Not a reputable company to deal with. Won't be placing orders with them in the future."

"My order sat in their office for 4 days before shipping. It arrived on the lengthy schedule they gave me, but most of that time was spent sitting in their office and warehouse.
Any vendor that can't ship within two days isn't managing their process efficiently for the customer.
About their customer service: it took 45 minutes on hold to reach a representative on day 3 of waiting for my order to ship. They told me the order had already shipped when in fact their own website showed the order status as still processing.
Also they don't tell you that they're going to bill you a significant shipping and handling charge. You don't see that shipping charge until the end of the order, and by then you've spent so much time going through all the ordering process and rejecting all the ads to buy more useless products that it's wasted even more of your time.
No good customer service! Don't order from them, they're only a marketing company."

"I ordered for Christmas delivery so product would be fresh. It was shipped immediately so needed to be stored for 20 days. The $20 Gift card that was offered as an added bonus was simply a coupon off future purchase of $79 or more and expired less than a month after order was received."
"I ordered a variety of meats, etc. that was to be delivered within 2 days of my order. It came a week later in a cooler that was room temperature. Omaha Steaks said they would send it out that coming Friday – Christmas Eve. We planned on using our steaks for Christmas dinner, so I called to verify delivery and they said it was scheduled for a Dec. 27 send off to be delivered on Dec. 29. When the customer service rep told me about the late delivery I told him this was the second mistake for the same order. He didn’t seem to care and didn’t try to do anything to rectify their mistake. Omaha Steaks should not be in business for another day. They couldn’t care less about their customers. I will never buy anything from them again. "

"I ordered the Omaha Steaks for my husband this year for Christmas. I placed my order online today 12/22. I realize the date was close for delivery for Christmas. They said on their website if you want it delivered for Christmas to pay and extra $10 and it would be done. I placed my order and tried to change the date on their website and pay the extra $10 and it would not go through. So, I called and I was on hold for 27 minutes ( I do know they are busy and it's Christmas). I hung up and called back waited another 15 minutes. I was hung up on 3X! I finally got through and the lady on the phone was very nice but she could not do anything for me or my troubles. So, by the time everything was done from beginning to end I wasted an hour to find out that nothing could be done and I will not get order until Dec. 27th. So far I am not thrilled with their customer service, Let's hope their steaks are worth it...we will see. "
"Minutes after ordering, I get bombarded with dozens of unsolicted sales offers, one after the other. I bet in the first 24 hours I got 50-60 emails that I had to unsubscribe to, entering my email in each and every one! TIME! Then better late than never, I read reviews that said how bad customer service is. I called to cancel orders since they sold my email address and could not get a person until I pressed the button to order MORE steaks! Answered right away on that line! Imagine that! THEN she could not cancel my order. Finally was able to get on line and cancel order. Never again! BEWARE!"
"I received my order a few days ago and upon opening the cooler I found an order that was all wrong. The meat was not even close to acceptable and lobster tails that were the size of a crawfish!! I am not kidding. When I opened the box for the lobster tails my friends who were over for dinner started laughing hysterically.
I thawed the meat and took it to my butcher who weighed the individual "filets". They were ALL one oz short of what I paid for. Then it gets worse.
My butcher then took the time to show me how to cut up a strip or ribeye steak to look like a filet, and that is EXACTLY what I was sold! Then it gets worse again when I call customer service. After waiting for 45 mins I had to hang up and try to use the "internet help center" which has not responded.
I would strongly urge you to not use this company. They don't sell what they advertise and have virtually NO customer service. After spending 20 minutes with my butcher, you can do MUCH better at your local meat shop. Sams or Costco is 10x better than these clowns.

"Absolutely the WORST service I have EVER experienced and I train customer service in a call center. I waited on hold over an hour 4 times because I needed to speak with customer service (separate from sales) about an order I had placed in-house and had them hold on December 13th while I verified an address. Today is the 19th. Since the 13th I've called no less than 20 times, waiting as long as an hour for someone to answer. Four of those times I 'pressed 8' to have someone call me back. The first time I received a return phone call the agent asked how she could help and intentionally disconnected the line when she learned I had already placed an order on hold. The second time my call was returned, a very nice young lady told me she wasn't the right one to help and would transfer me. The call was disconnected. The third time I never received a return call. Today was the 4th time and, after holding for over an hour, I gave up and am writing this review as I await a return call. I also tried to place the order on-line and got all the way to the payment page before learning there would be $80 shipping charged on 4 orders. I had been assured any order over $100 would be shipped at no charge.
It isn't worth it, Todd Simon, 5th generation Omaha Steaks family owner. Your steaks aren't that great, anyway. You are a convenience item only, and I want to assure everyone... You are of absolutely NO convenience!!!

"We did not get part of our order and I have spent THE ENTIRE DAY trying to talk to someone in customer service! While on hold for hours, I was hung up on twice. I still have not been able to speak to anyone. The order line miraculously picks up, but they cannot help with a problem with the order. It is evident that they only care about taking new orders!"
