Would not pay full cost to return, even though you could reasonably argue this was a manufacturers defect (all other boots of that size from that company had fit properly). Ordered an exchange boot, which they sent to THE WRONG ADDRESS, then refused to compensate me for having them resent to the correct address. Do not patronize."
"I purchased a $67 pair of boots for work. I got them in the mail and they were scuffed up and had a stain on them. I e-mailed them and asked them to refund my money and they said they would. I mailed the boots back, and I paid the shipping back. 4 WEEKS LATER I finally received the refund, and it was for $8.50 less than what I paid for the boots. I mean seriously? And, I paid out of pocket the $16.93 to buy the box and packing tape to mail the boots back. So I have no boots, and I am out $25.43 by doing business with these people. I would never recommend it to anyone. Obviously people only write reviews when they're not satisfied, that's proven. But I am furious. I was furious when the boots took forever to get to me, and I was FURIOUS that they were scuffed. I wrote a strongly worded e-mail and received the following response " Hello, The $8.50 you were charged was for our restocking fee on a return. You can find any needed information on the restocking fee under our Return/Exchange Policy listed at the link located at the bottom of our website." I replied to that e-mail explaining that it was a return because they were damaged, and I got no response. I have never been more furious in my entire life. I do a ton of online shopping and this is really the only issue I've had. Most companies are great, this company is terrible. Don't spend a penny here!"
"Terrible customer service! I should have read the reviews on this company before ordering. I ordered boots for my wife rush shipping for xmas. They took the order,charged my credit card and sent confirmation that they were shipping the boots. When they had not arrived i called and they assured me that they were on the way. Later that day they cancelled my order because the boots had been dicontinued leaving me with no present for my wife on xmas eve.This company sucks there are plenty of other companie to order from. "The boots I ordered said 1-2 day processing right on the item page. On onlinebootstore.com's shipping policy page, it also states 1-2 business day processing. When I still hadn't received a shipping email after 3 days, I called. I was put on hold over and over for almost 15 minutes. I had to demand to talk to someone. I was then told they really had no idea when the boots would ship. It seems like they are selling items they don't actually have in stock (even though the product pages state otherwise). Anyway, I ended up asking to cancel the order. I didn't receive a cancellation confirmation email either - so I hope the order was actually cancelled. The whole thing seemed very shadey. Don't be fooled by the professional looking website or ease of ordering - NOTHING else about this place is professional. I don't care how low the prices are - I won't deal with onlinebootstore.com ever again."

I ordered a pair of boots for my son for xmas on dec 8.
Money gone that day.
On the 15th i called left a message, no reply.
On the 16th emailed, no reply.
On the 18th i called, told the order was processed on the 10th, but no ship date or delivery info. Said they would call back.
I called back on the 19th. Still no info available, but should get them by the 27th. After xmas!
Called 3x on the 20th, disconnected each time.
On dec 21st email says a shipping label has been created. Delivery for january 2nd.
Really? 13 days to process a boot order. 13 days to ship. that's 26 days!
Never again will this company get my hard earned dollars.

"I believe most people only write reviews when they have a problem. Makes for a pretty negative life. My order from the OnlineBootStore when great. Ordered a nice, more expensive pair of work shoes and had them in a couple days, but I live in Wisconsin which is the same State as the company. Shoes were just what I ordered and had no issues. I didn't have any dealings with customer service so I can't comment on their responsiveness. If you know what you want, it's hard to beat their prices."
