"I should review first this boot store before I purchase from them. It's been 3 weeks I've been waiting for my order. maybe I just going to cancel my order and get my money back...****=("
"I never write review but three times I have had a bad experience with this company and this last time was the straw that broke the camels back. 1st time they shipped me non-steel toes and claimed it was my fault took 3 weeks to exchange and an extra $20 for me to ship them back. 2nd time my boots never showed after almost a month they started an investigation then UPS had an investigation both taking one week and then I received my money back almost 6 weeks later. 3rd time my boots took 3 weeks to arrive and they are too big. $8.50 to restock and $20 in shipping. I am convinced these amazing reviews are plants by the company. People don't say things like competitive pricing, companies do. DO NOT USE ONLINEBOOTSTORE.COM THEY ARE TERRIBLE!"
"This company sucks I was told three to four days it's been two weeks and I still don't have my boots. I will tell everyone I know do not buy shoes from this company."
"I have bought from OnlineBootStore.com Twice now, after a friend recommended them as a good place to get some sturdy boots at a reasonable price, and each time the experience has been great. Their prices were very competitive (the lowest I could find anywhere, for the boots I wanted, both times). They arrived exactly as described in under a week, just as expected. I found that their selection was great, and found exactly what I needed; one pair for work and one pair for play! Based on this I would recommend that you give OnlineBootStore.com a try if you are looking for a new pair of boots. "
"Gee, I thought I was the only one having problems. Same story as above. Ordered on 2/26/12, told they would go out Friday, no confirmation by 3/6, sent email, they said I would receive them by Friday, and that's the last I've heard. I think this "store" has no warehouse, may be operating out of a kitchen. Why? My tracking shows they shipped my Chippewa boots from Stafford, Texas, not Wisconsin. I think they buy overstocks, and have them shipped from the store. They probably have them shipped to them, and then to you, but my pressure forced a shipment from the dealer, and that's OK, if that's how they get the cheaper prices, but be up front about it, and if they are irregulars, then be up front about that too."
"Worthless company!!
I normally don’t write reviews, but felt I had to warn others. I ordered a pair of Chippewa boots on 1-10-12 they finally arrived on 1-23-12. (It took 8 working days just to get them shipped, although they charge your credit card immediately). Very nice boots but I thought it would take too long to break them in. So I sent them back for an exchange of Justin boots on 1-31-12. They received them on 2-6-12, although the Justin’s were $5.00 more they did not charge me for the difference. They said they shipped the exchange back to me on 2-22-12.
Really, 2 ½ weeks to process an exchange, that’s pretty slow in the 21st century. As of today, 2-24-12 I haven’t received the exchange, they said they are supposed to be delivered on 2-28-12, although I had to call them for a tracking number, they didn’t bother to contact me.
Hopefully they will be the right boots and this whole wretched experience will come to an end. So, a simple order and exchange took almost a month and a half!! I probably could have cobbled up some shoes by myself in less time. You really have to be persistent with these people in order to get things moving.
Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired, I e-mailed and called for updates probably 15 times. It usually takes several days for them to respond, if at all. I’m reasonably sure they operate out of a road-side ditch somewhere in the back woods. I’m pretty sure they don’t stock anything, they send orders, probably by pack mule, or perhaps carrier pigeon to other companies, who take another week or two to ship out.
Save yourself a lot of time, headaches and Rolaids, (and the worthless middleman of J-Gear, On Line Boot Store, or whatever other names they use). Spend an extra 5 bucks and order from a more reputable company, who will ship faster and with less aggravation. I hope the department of internet fraud closes this place down soon..

"I got a really good pair of work boots here. I love their online store even though I'm not used to buying stuff online I was able to find just the right boot for me.
Plus the shipping was pretty fast."
"Read and beleive the negatives! Horrible customer service!! They always had an excuse as to why it took 45 days to exchange a pair of boots. I did however learn a lesson....I'll avoid this customer like the plague."
"Recently, I purchased two pairs of boots from OnlineBootStore.com; one for my husband and the other for my son. I first looked locally and could not find a good pair of boots for either of them. Regular department stores do carry some boots, but not enough to choose from. I placed my order for two pairs of boots based on our needs, and fortunately what we wanted we found at an affordable price. The price are affordable and the shipping time was good. I placed the order and within 5 business days, we received the boots. We were very satisfied with our purchase. The boots fit perfectly and my husband and son were pleased with how they fit. I highly recommend checking out OnlineBootStore.com for a wide selection of affordable boots. Thank you!"
"After reading some of the reviews on this site, I was hesitant to order from this company. I decided to take a chance since they had hard to find boots for my wife in stock at a substantially lower price than a dealer. They did charge my card immediately and I anxiously kept checking the status of the order. Just as they state, after 4 business days (6 days total), a tracking number appeared. The boots were delivered today after 3 days shipping time via UPS. The boots were awesome, my wife could not be happier. Overall, an excellent buying experience and I would buy from this company again."
"Horrible experience! I ordered a pair of Justin style #J999 men's chukka on Dec. 26, 2011 The Bootbiz.com site listed a #J999 and A # 999 very similar boot, but not the same; as it was obvious in the pictures. I was very careful to select the correct # because I really liked the one and not the other. After I placed my order I received a confirmation that they had received it via email within minutes. So far, so good. A week later, Monday, January 2nd, I hadn’t received any confirmation as to whether the item was in stock or if it was going to ship or what. I called the customer service phone number during their normal business hours and got a recording that they were closed. I sent an email to ****@****, and did not get a reply. I called the next day, January 3rd and I got a recording that the mailbox was full. I called again an hour later and was put on hold for approximately five minutes. When the customer service rep. finally picked up the line I inquired about an estimated shipping time for my order. She couldn’t tell me. I asked if they were in stock. Again, she couldn’t tell me. She put me on hold and checked and replied that they were in fact in stock but did not know when they would ship. I asked her to cancel the order but I was informed that I would not be guaranteed that it would be cancelled. After a couple of minutes of inquiring as to why I couldn’t cancel the order I gave up and told her just to ship the boots because I really liked them and would wait. I received the boots on January 9th, 2012. That’s almost two weeks later. That’s kind of slow for a product that was in stock the whole time. When I opened the box, lo and behold, they were not the boot that I was so careful to order. I called the customer service line and explained the dilemma. I was told by the customer rep. that I in fact did receive the right product. After a few minutes of insisting that I did not get the right boots, the rep. looked in the catalog and confirmed that there was indeed two very similar styles and with two similar product numbers. I was told that I could return them but they would notify me in 24-48 hours as to whether or not I would have to pay the return shipping for a mistake that was not mine. I received a call 48 hours later and was told that it was a style change by Justin boot and that Justin did not notify them, as a rule when there is a “minor change” in the style and it was, basically, not their fault. The style, in my opinion is obviously different. I told the rep. that both styles were listed on their website. (They have, since that order, updated their site and only list the one style). So, I have to return the boots at my expense, and wait an additional ten days beyond the 5-6 days to ship to get a credit on my account. The whole experience was a debacle to say the least. Never again will I order from Bootbiz.com! buyer beware: It appears that they go by a few different names on the web. I got emails confirming my order from bootbiz, online boot store, JGear."
"I had the same awful buying experience with onlinebootstore.com as several others apparently have. I ordered boots in October. When I got the boots, one of them had a defect (a knick that looked as if someone had attempted to fix, or should I say cover up!)I also needed a different size so I sent the boots back. Their website says they will reimburse shipping charges if the exchange is due to a defect. Well, it had been several weeks (6 weeks to be exact) and I STILL had not gotten new boots in the mail or heard anything from them for that matter. So I sent an email inquiring about the boots. Never got a response. Called a couple of weeks later and was put on hold for over 30 minutes before I hung up. When I finally spoke with someone, they said the boots were out of stock and would not be back in stock for over a month. They had apparently credited my account back without any notification. Then they wouldnt reimburse me for shipping, which was close to $20, bc they said they "didnt see" a defect!!!! Yes, it was a small defect but if I pay $140 for boots, I expect brand new quality. I am furious. Bottom line..do NOT buy from them!"
"The absolute worst online buying experience I have ever had from any retailer...and I have been shopping online as long as the internet has been in existance. Ordered boots on 12/12 and they charged my card. On 12/14 there was a UPS shipping label generated but the boots did not ship. After 8 phone calls of either no answer or being forced to hold with the calls then being dropped, I sent 4 emails. No replies yet. On 12/30 I again went to the website to check the status and it said the UPS label had been cancelled by the sender that day. All this was me pursuing information without receiving any email or phone call from them. It looks like they have just cancelled my order with no notification."
"I just bought my first pair of work shoes from OnlineBootStore.com. They had a great selection with a wide variety of name brands. The other thing I liked is that they offered larger women's sizes. I had no problem finding something I liked in my size. The prices were also very reasonable in comparison to going into a store. They also offered free ground shipping which also saved me money."
"I was gloomy about ordering from JGear, but they exceeded my expectations in terms of product quality, customer service and most important to me, shipping! I am glad I finally found a good website to order from! "
