"I have heard good things about optics planet so I was willing to give them a try. On this my first order, I had a negative experience. After placing my order, I was sent an email asking to call them because there was an issue with my order. (They could have just called me and not waited for me to call them). I was informed an item of mine couldn’t be shipped to California due to prop 65. I was surprised because it let me place the order with a CA shipping address. I called them and said to ship all of the other items except for the one they couldn’t send. Then I got another email stating one of my items was now out of stock. It was in stock at the time I placed my order but because of the one item not being able to be shipped to CA, this item was now sold out. It took a couple of weeks to get all of the things I ordered except for the one item they couldn’t ship. The couple of times I called and spoke to customer service they were less than sympathetic and weren’t interested in solving my issue. Needless to say poor customer service is why I would not recommend ordering from Optics Planet. "

"This is probably my eighth order from this site and they are always expedient, competitively priced, and reliable. Even if an item is on back order, they ship within hours of the item becoming available. I've spent >$2,000 on this site so far and I have been exceptionally happy with my order every time.
