"I ordered a very expensive Vortex spotting scope and tripod. It couldn't be shipped to my home without a signature and that was a problem since I'm a school teacher and can't be at home to receive and sign for product. So I had it sent to, what I thought was an authorized Federal Express facility. What a mistake as it turns out that it was a mail and copy business that was only a drop point for Federal Express. Without going into specifics the business told me that my daughter picked up my package. This was a total lie and I honestly believe that the owner of the business stole or gave my package away to someone he knew. I was sick thinking that I had my items stolen. Optics Planet called me back and basically told me not to worry and they were resending me my products and filing a claim with the courier. Optics Planet Rocks!!!!! superior customer service and really watching for the best interest of their customers. Please order from them, they have the best prices and a ton of products, they also treat their customers with respect.

"Didn't need a scope base but ordered it because it was a great deal. I planned to put a peep sight on my 760 that was made for a 7600. Screws wouldn't work and I couldn't find one made for a 760. When the base came in I tried the screws that came with it. The caps were big enough and fit perfectly. Now have the peep mounted and the base in case I change my mind and want a scope."

I have not had to use the warranty process yet but I did use the customer service process to get my military discount. The process for the military discount was easy, I just called and gave my information, item description, and two weeks later I received my order with no issues. The only con I have is that if you send out a discount or the website is giving a discount, Optics Planet should also give the military discount as well. I know it is a bigger discount but that's what a discount is suppose to be. I think this would bring in more customers. I do recommend shopping at Optics Planet."
