Even though it showed that my order was already picked from their inventory and "shipping" it took them 4 to 5 days to actually ship my order with me having to call about 3 times. Then once shipped I received it in the shipping speed I paid extra for. Even when I called their customer service line the representatives sounded upset or irritated, like why am I bothering them about my order. I'm pretty sure I won't be doing business with optics planet again. They would have to have an insane sale that I couldn't pass up for me to come back."

On this particular order the site said that the part was in stock 5 days after I ordered it. My order shipped but by then the part was out of stock. Something to keep in mind when choosing the value shipping option. My opinion on how to help improve the customer experience is to provide an option to have Optics Planet pull the funds for the whole order at the beginning of the process instead of only drawing funds for the portion of the order that has shipped. "I ordered two of the Trinity Force Assault Combos SR11S1428BH. I received two Northtac Assault V1 scopes. They are similar, but not what I ordered. When I called customer service and explaining what had happen: I was put on a lengthy hold while the customer service manager was consulted. When the customer service rep returned to the phone, I was told that they saw no way this could have happened and I would have to send them back and let them examine and investigate. I would be notified of their findings. Number 1: I do not have another 3 to 4 weeks for this kind of process and number 2: They caused this problem, not me! Lastly how dare they infer that they could not have done this and effectively saying that I am trying to cheat them?! Bad quality control in picking. Bad process for problem resolution and bad response from customer service! "

"Optics Planet, if you make a mistake you should give a full refund not stick the customer with the bill for shipping. I have ordered from Optics Planet on a few occasions and since nothing went wrong I had no reason to contact customer service leaving me happy with the transactions. That was not the case with a recent transaction however. I ordered some magazines based on information in one of their listings that turned out to be incorrect. When I spoke with customer service about it I was given more incorrect information. When I sent in my return I expected a full refund since it was their inaccurate listing that caused the situation.
