"I ordered 2 magazines for my Steyr SSG 69 308 caliber. It had a picture of the proper mag . And said they where for an ssg69. I got them and they where for a scout caliber in 243 . Thee STEYR SSG69 mag is a rotary mag just like the one pictured. So I called them up and I told them they sent me wrong mags . And I have a picture of my order form it says SteyrSSG 69 308 on. They said I ordered wrong mag . I said I did not. Then they offered me a mag for a ssg 08 with is another different gun. I said no that’s not same mag. I really wanted the right mags. But they said they didn’t have any. So I said I will take my money back. I sent mags back. I got email next day that they got the mags back . They are just down the road from me. So they tell me it will take 10 to 20 days to get my money back. Well screw you! I need the money to buy mags for a hunting trip. Never again ! These people didn’t have a clue of what they where talking about when talking about the mags. I told them they need to change the add and it’s still up. Probably to screw more people. ! "
"I ordered a vortex scope and when the scope arrived the lens cap was broken. I called Optics Planet and talked to a customer service rep and was told they would send me out a replacement lens cover but sadly that never happened. I called again two weeks later and was told they would contact me about sending a replacement lens cover and so far know one has returned my call. I have ordered several things from Opticsplanet and have never had an issue until now , so my first impression of your customer service is not good. All I ask is, say what you are going to do and then do what you say. "
"I've ordered from optics planet 3 times. First time was ok. The second time they refused to ship one item internationally. When I made another order they asked me to go through identification process which took few days because of them having problems with their credit card processing. I ended up making the order again paying with paypal. That meant I paid about 50 usd more for the service bacause of exchange rate difference.
The third time I ordered they sent my orders as 2 parcels. Both got stopped because of lack of invoice, the first was returned but the other resolved and sent to my destination. They refused to resend the returned one. Refunded me for the product but didn't refund the shipping cost which was the same as the product costed. So they initially robbed me of half the cost because of their own mistake.
Their customer service usually answears with standardised posts that don't fit your question or errand if they answear at all.
I would stay away and shop elsewhere."

OpticsPlanet processes all returns within 10 business days of the receipt of the returned merchandise. Credit card companies vary in the time required to post credits back to a customer's account. For PayPal orders, refunds will need to be withdrawn from your PayPal account to reflect on your credit card statement. Your return package was received on Friday, December 13 and a full refund was issued Tuesday, December 17.
