"All the reviews I read claim the same problem I have had with this company. The show certain products available on their website when they are not in stock. You can check the availability of the product, and it shows it will ship in 1-3 business days.

Check ConsumerAffair's and BBB for reviews of customer's all having the same experience of ordering item's shown as being in stock and they are not... so you end up waiting 3 days or longer for the item to ship if it even ships at all ."

"I've dealt with Optics Planet for about 5 months now and have placed 15 orders in that time, all dealing with expensive AR-15 parts. As most people, I check pricing with several other o-line companies before buying and for most things (not all) Optic Planets usually have the best prices. I also factor in shipping, service and the return policy. OP usually has a deal where you can get free shipping with a minimum amount purchased, their service is great and their return policy is fantastic. Every package I receive from them is boxed in an Optics Planet cardboard box and well padded with air pacs. I've returned several items and they immediately respond with a FedEx shipping label and I send it back to them for free... not bad. The negatives... they have quite a few things out of stock and back ordered but not enough to make me not want to buy from them again. Sometimes you cant wait so I call them up and cancel the items without a hitch. Their free shipping is also slow ground shipping which means a week or more to get your goodies... but hey, its free! Bottom line, I like dealing with this company and will continue to do so in the future."
