Ordered a replacement bulb for my Panasonic projector because they had the best price with their "Free 3 day shipping!".
The order info showed a status of "shipped" and they went ahead and charged my credit car.
So far, so good.
I check back 2 days later expecting my bulb to show up and there's no tracking number. Curious.
So I send them an e-mail and get a reply about 8 hours later that the item actually HASN'T shipped yet.
I Immediately get nervous about an online vendor that bills your credit card without actually SHIPPING the product! Especially when they report that they DID ship the product.
The next day I reach a customer rep after a short wait on hold. He very politely blames "weather conditions" for the delay. Apparently the February weather in California is a real disaster.
I explain to him that telling me an item has SHIPPED when it HASN'T and BILLING my card at the same time is questionable business practices.
He apologizes but discovers that the product DID ship JUST 2 days late and it has a tracking number!
Okay....now we're getting somewhere. Except the product shipped GROUND and will take 5 days to reach me instead of the "Free 3 Day Shipping!" that brought me to PCNation in the first place.
He apologizes again and tells me there's nothing he can do for me.

"I ordered a Garmin Fishfinder 400c. The website stated clearly that the product was back ordered and not expected for one to two weeks. I ordered anyway as water around here is quite frozen at this time of year. The price was as good as a very few other sites especially with the free shipping. After a bit more than a month of hearing nothing, I sent an e-mail inquiring about the status of my order. No response. I sent another e-mail to a slightly different address. No response. A few days later, on 1/26/10 I called the 800 number and soon spoke to a fellow named Will. He used caller ID to look up my order so I didn't have to explain much. He said that the product was back in stock and it would be shipped if I still wanted it. I said ship it and it arrived in three or four days not counting a weekend. So, yes, I would order from this company again. I only fault the company for a lack of response to my e-mails and the possible fact that the item may have been back in stock for a while but my order had fallen through the cracks. And the water here is still quite frozen. "

"When prices seem to good to be true, once again proven they are. Tried to order two different items. They want you to verify with a non-hotmail type of address, so we provided our business email address. Performed the verification, they said that was not going to suffice. They then asked us to add our ship to address on file with the CC company. Annoying, but ok, I understnad. So I deal with the CC company for 20 minutes to get this done and report back it's completed. We are told it will get verified within the next couple of hours from PCNation. No updates for 24 hours, call back in and am told they don't have the time to wait on hold with the CC company to verify the address and they need to wait until a calm period on the hold queue. So it's ok to ask us to wait on hold and deal with it, delay the order by 3 days, but they cannot take the time conduct their own business to charge the card. So not worth the $20 we were hoping to save over Amazon."

"The whole thing was going fine until the printer developed an issue. No problem, right? Start a RMA... You have to talk to HP before we proceed.. OK.. HP says nothing wrong.. PCN sent me a replacement anyway!! Now they want me to pay to ship back what they shipped me without my approval and acknowledgment! "It clearly states in the Return Policy..." Oh. the one I had to go look for.. that isn't presented to you as you check out! That Return Policy? I can see the Credit Card Company getting involved here as I will not stand for being charged to return defective products, especially when they have a "Hassle Free Return Policy". I will not be purchasing anything else from them again. I advise others to do the same till they correct their attitude about Product Returns. At this rate it will have been cheaper to buy locally!"
"I bought a Garmin GPS device from PCNation that was listed as in stock. The next day when I went to their website to check my order the item was listed as backordered. I did not receive an email from them about this change in status either. Terrible. I will not be using PCNation again."
