"Happy Camper--actually I will have three very happy friends/relatives with the Garmin GPS's I purchased from PCNation. I called noon on this past Thursday and spoke to Ben who was patient and friendly-I'm not the most tech saavy person when it comes to this stuff but he handled my questions professionally and made me feel secure inmy decision to purchase 2 Garmin NUVI 265 WT's and a Garmin Hand Held G5. I spent over $500, got their free Fed Ex shipping offer and to my very happy surprise I was wrapping my gifts by 4:00 PM on Monday Dec 6th

Nice way to do business --nice people great prices--

"I do not understand what you people want. I've ordered several items online in the past 10 years, and I've never been prompted to do something like this, just to get the order shipped. I will not be using PC Nation to order products again. I need that GPS for my job, and I expected it to be out shipped today. I really don't even understand what you want me to do. Something about confirming my Email address?? I work long hours during this time of year as a FedEx driver. I just got home and it is a little past 8pm, as it has been snowing all day. I expected to come home and see that the order has at least been shipped. But instead I have to deal with this. And when I tried to call your customer service, I was told by a recorded message that you people are closed. If your company doesn't have a secure method of applying a credit card to a purchase, that's not my problem. That's your job, and your responsibility, not the customer. Every other reputable online merchandise company does it this way. I want this order shipped out tomorrow, or I am cancelling the order. Should have just used Amazon again. "

"Awful experience, terrible customer service, shady business practices. I originally ordered a Brother all-in-one laser printer on Nov. 29th with 3-day delivery. I got an e-mail on Nov. 30th saying that there was an issue with the credit card company regarding my address, I called, and was told if I could provide them with an official company e-mail address or land line, it would fix it. I confirmed with the credit card company that there was no issue, and no record of any issue, and how would a company e-mail or phone call fix this?? The next day, still not shipped, I spoke with Mark x4803 who said it would ship on Wed. the first, and I would receive it by Friday. It did not ship until Thursday the 2nd, and will not arrive until Monday, a full week after placing the order. They could not provide me with a reason why it did not ship on Wed. Furthermore, they will not freely give you a tracking number. You have to call them each day to see if they have one. Getting info from this company about your order is like pulling teeth, when you do speak with someone, they are very rude. I will never order from them again, and would not advise anyone else to do so either... unless you want to spend a few hours on the phone, and a few days at home waiting to sign for a package that doesn't come on time."

"Awful experience. I placed an order for an in-stock Nikon SB-600 flash. It was scheduled to arrive in 2 days (free overnight shipping). 2 Days later, nothing so I call them and speak to Mark 2803. He says they're currently out of stock (it still says in-stock online). He says it's scheduled to come in later that day and that he would call me later that day to give me a better estimate. Next day - nothing. I call him again. He says it's going to maybe be next week. maybe. no guarantees. This is my first experience with them and it will be my last. Mark sounds like he hates his job and has to do this a lot. Poor guy. I feel for him. But it's best not to have anything to do with this company. Their login doesn't even work on their website so you can't even check your order (which I tried to do immediately after placing my order). I emailed and called twice. All for nothing. STAY AWAY! And I still haven't gotten a response via their email customer service. Poor Mark is handling all of their angry customers."

"Bait and switch!!
I shopped and compared on Cyber Monday for the best deal I could find on a netbook for my 16 year old son. Even though I could get a cheaper one at Radio Shack, I went with one from PC Nation for 292.00. I received an email stating they needed verification as a new customer. I was on hold for over 15 minutes when I gave up.
I called Tuesday morning, again on hold for 15 minutes before someone picked up. I supplied my work email and received an email 2 hours later that there was a problem. I called and was on hold forever only to be told my item was backordered. Funny, it was available when I placed the order. They did have a 'similar' item for 85.00 more.
I will never deal with this company again and no one else should - especially for holiday gifts

"Product arrived with both missing parts and incorrect parts. Installing the product was time critical so I had to purchase a similar product locally to steal parts from to complete the install. The $145.93 was less important than having a correct product. When I reported this to PC Nation their response was unrealistic - that I should take the projector mount down from the fire station where it was installed to send it back for their analysis. I offered to send back the wrong parts included but that did not satisfy their process. Keep the money, just don't use the slogan "We Cut Prices . . . Not Corners!""

"Lure and Bait. Placed an order online, it went through, got the email confirmation, clicked the link on the email to verify that I placed the order. Today they called me and said there is a Problem with my credit card. So I called back, wasted like 30 minutes, and only to find out THEY CAN'T FULFILL the order because It's Not In Stock. What a waste of my time. Amazon has it for only $7 more, I shouldn't have strayed away from Amazon.com."

"First time ordering from PCNation and very impressed by efficiency. Received email verifying order and another when order shipped. Product received was just as promised. And most importantly, price matched multiple websites and PCNation had the best price for new product with complimentary 3 day shipping. The only site with a lower price was the Epson website selling a refurbished printer. I would definitely recommend shopping with this site!!"

"UPDATE: pcnation has sent me a very sincere apology email regarding these issues.

Very bad experience. I sent the following email to them:

Dear PCNation,

I need to file multiple complaints on the handling of our first order with your company.

First, I ordered this item from your website (order [redacted]):
http://www.pcnation.com/web/details.asp?item=Y78941
As you can see, it is listed as 48 pounds and qualifies for free fedex 3 day shipping.

Three days came and went with no delivery, so I called your customer support [as there is no tracking information online for my order]. I was informed that you used Southeastern Freight Lines (SFL) to ship the item and to take up the issue with them. As SFL can't deliver to my house as I'm on a cul-de-sac [they use 18-wheelers], I have to drive all the way across town to pick up my order. I was informed by the rude customer support at pcnation when I asked as to why it was not shipped out as advertised that you may use a freight company at your discretion.

The freight company has been trying to call you since 7/14 to arrange for delivery at my house (since it's in a cul-de-sac). Your phone number is the one left with the order. You did not notify me that you were using a different than advertised company. You ignored SFL's requests to arrange for pick up at a different location. I had to call and arrange pick-up. On top of that, you gave SFL your phone number instead of mine. You also misspelled my name on the package.

This is entirely unacceptable. Instead of offering an apology for not notifying me about ANY of this, your phone support person tried to rationalize such behavior by stating your policy - that at pcnation's discretion, a freight company may be used. No apology, just justification. He even said, "Hey, you still received free shipping," as if it were an excuse for all the mistakes your company made. That's unacceptable - customers should not be given excuses like this.

To recap:

1. Notify the customer if you're using a different shipping company than advertised.
2. Update your website so that the aforementioned product doesn't have an unsupported delivery option.
3. Give the CORRECT name and address to the shipping company you use.
4. Do not make your customers drive across town to pick up a package that you advertised would be delivered to their home.
5. Train your phone support to apologize when you guys make a mistake.

We were expecting this product yesterday - this is entirely unacceptable.
