"Story so far:
1. First time with PCNation- Ordered camera online on 9th Apr. Online it was showing in-stock
2. Got an email on Apr 11 at 3 PM saying I am required to speak to customer service.
3. Spoke to customer service on apr 12 at around 9 AM. They said address in credit card could not be verified. I verified over phone and the address was correct. I noticed that in the order confirmation email the address was correct and when I checked order status online at pcnation site, the address it is showing has slight spelling mistake - instead of Avenue it has AVS. How is it possible. In the order confirmation email it is Avenue and in the web site it shows AVS instead of avenue.
4. On apr 12 eve, called up customer care again and they said the ordered item shipped. Checked status online and it said "expedite address ver".
5. Read previous reviews and found that previous customer had address verification issue and in some cases their order was delayed or went out of stock. Hope I will get my item on time and address verification is not a trick to misguide customer."

"I ordered a canon eos 5 mark II from them. They told me that I needed to call before they could process the order. When I called, they said they needed to verify who I am by giving them my home phone. I gave them the number. They, then, claimed that they could not verify that number to my address. The number is in my name and address, so there is no reason that wouldn't work. There were no other options that could work for me since I am self-employed. My only option was to cancel the order. I purchase a lot online and have NEVER had a problem before. Very bad experience!"
"This seller never has stock despite saying they do. After you place an order, you get nothing, no confirmation. Then they email you to tell you to call them. When you do, they go through the auditing process, then tell you your item is not in stock. What a waste of time."

"As a college student, I find that a laptop is essential to my everyday life. However, when I received my laptop from PC Nation, it came with what seemed like a faulty charger. After dealing with ASUS, shipping the charger to its facilities, and waiting for it to be repaired, I found out that it was the laptop itself that was faulty. Now, after a month of waiting, I am unable to return my product. I would not have bought my laptop from PC Nation if I had read these reviews. Even if I were to attempt to return the laptop now, I would have to deal with paying for restocking and shipping and handling fees--ALL FOR A BROKEN LAPTOP THAT PC NATION SOLD TO ME. While I understand that they have a return policy, PC Nation should take full responsibility, which they refuse to do. "
"This was the worst experience I have EVER had with a retailer. I would never ever under any circumstance buy from them again. They sold me two defective printers that HP agreed were defective and still fought to not give me a refund. I have been waiting a month for my refund request to be approved and still have not gotten a response. Buy it from the guy on the corner selling out of the back of his van before you buy from these guys, you'll probably get better service all the way around. "
"I will not do business with this seller ever again. Our camera did not arrive before Christmas as promised with the expedited shipping fee we paid. The camera was damaged when we received it. When we called to process the return we were told we would have to work with the manufacturer to return the damaged camera. After many escalated conversations they agreed to work with me to replace the camera however I would have to pay for the shipping. After many more escalated calls they agreed to provide a shipping label...ground shipping instead of expedited. I still haven't received my replacement camera a month later and received no follow-up from the company. Today I called and waited on hold for 20 min. to find out that the cameras have been backordered and they don't know when they will receive more. I cannot receive a refund without paying a 15% "return processing fee". This company has horrible customer service and horrible return policies. I would highly recommend you DO NOT give PC Nation your business. "
"I sincerely regret doing business with pcnation.com. I ordered an expensive Sony camera from their site that didn’t work right out of the box. When I requested a replacement I was told that the Sony policy was a repair only warranty and that the distributor denied replacement. As their customer, my order and money went to pcnation.com, not to Sony or some other distributor. Pcnation.com also denied my request for a refund, which means that I have paid full price for a refurbished camera. Bottom line: perhaps pcnation.com is not technically liable because of their “policy”, but practically speaking in terms of customer service – they have a dissatisfied customer who will never buy another thing from pcnation.com, will tell everyone about this bad experience…and they got a bad online review."
"I should have read these review before I ordered. I placed an order last night for a Canon SD1400IS camera that was, and still is reported as in-stock on the website. After waiting over 15 minutes to speak to a representative, Mark told me that the item is backordered and should arrive in 1-2 weeks. Completely unacceptable. I asked him to cancel the order. They offer lower prices because they have no intention of ever delivering the items."
"This company stated online there was a three day delivery. The GPS I ordered was not delivered in that time. When I called to check on the item the contact person I talked with had a very negative argumentative response.
I was not bothered by the fact that it would not be delivered in three days. Had his attitude been better there would have been no problem but I would never use this company again."
"0 out of 10. Placed an order for an iPod Brick shown as in stock. Few days later received an email saying it was back-ordered, but expected in 1 to 2 weeks. Called after 3 weeks and was told that it had been discontinued, leaving me high and dry for Christmas. Who are these clowns? Would NEVER purchase anything from a business this incompetent and who treats their customers this way."
"As a first time customer with pcnation, I was a little worried especially seeing the low price. But after seeing good reviews on the site, I went ahead with the order. I received my canon 60D just like I expected and it was cheaper than amazon or eBay. It was actually a gift that i ordered last minute but got it on time. They even called me a month later to let me know canon released an update for the camera I purchased an if I had any questions about the item. Now that's real customer service. Would definitely recommend this site to anyone."
