"I pre-ordered a Sager 8887 from PCTorque. I was kept informed throughout the delivery process. PCTorque was one of the first to offer buying this machine, and also had one of the cheapest prices. Sagerforums.com that PCTorque hosts is a valuable tool as well. I'd recommend this company to anyone.

I also ordered a 80GB drive to add into the 2nd bay of my 8887. I paid "cash" by sending an international money transfer. My only complaint sending my money was delayed by 3 days because they were thinking about changing their shipping policy. Not a big deals since I was not in a rush.

As for my laptop, PCTorque has answered the 2 questions I've had about it. I've only had to get some keys replaced on the keyboard, Sager sent new ones to me without verifying my warranty which I thought was great.

"As a home user reliability and quality is topmost on my list of expectations for any consumer commodity I purchase.

I had chosen to buy a SAGER 5660 and was now faced with a number of resellers with attractive deals. I spent time with each of these resellers before selecting PC Torque.

PC Torque has a user forums at www.sagerforums.com where I interacted with many users and other prospective buyers. the 3 weeks that I spent on the forums convinced me to go ahead with my purchase.

I placed my order on the morning of 28th of Jan. I opted for the cash discount and wired the money to PC Torque (they give wiring instructions with the order confirmation). This was a decision I took after a lot of hesitation because wiring money is not a secure transaction and you have to really trust the party on the other side. Within minutes I had a confirmation from PC Torque that the wire had been received and that the order was being processed.

Towards the evening I emailed PC Torque to ask if I could have the laptop before the weekend (31st Jan was a Friday). I received a reply immediately stating that my delivery service had been upgraded to 3 day air!! and I had paid for UPS ground!!

The Laptop arrived as promised on Friday the 31st of Jan and I found everything to be better than expected and it is working great!! Neatly packed in double boxing to protect everthing inside. Superb instructions and a fantastic carrying case from Targus.

PC Torque has exemplary customer service and communicate efficiently in quick time. They are flexible and between PC Torque and Powernotebooks, you will get better prices at PC Torque. I still spend a lot of time on their forums and have solved little niggles with driver and OS right there with the advice from other users.

PC Torque has created a community for their products and this, for someone like me on a tight budget with only one shot at a laptop, is a godsend.
