"Ordered a adc to dvi adapter cable. Website said the item was in stock, but it in fact had to be back ordered.
I called to cancel the order. Phone system (for small company) was totally messed up, and kept hanging up on me or sending me in endless phone menu loops.
When I finally spoke to someone to cancel the order, they said in addition to doing so on the phone I had to email them.
There seemed very disorganized and confused in general when I called them and tried to see the face behind the web site."

"Could be an excellent place to shop but for one glaring problem.
WHen I odered my camera it was one of the cheapest prices period. Really low. On top of that they DIDNT pad shipping like most cheap places.
They also shippled my order out the first business day and I got it two days later as promised.
So whats the problem? They could be as popular as Newegg.com if they would only fix their customer database.
The biggest complaint about this place by a few others is, and with my experience - you order and you auto-email right away. Thats great. But its not really telling you anything since its automatic.
Newegg , Amazon and others also automatically put the invoice number into the customer lookup database right away so you can look up the status of your order.
With Page. my order actually was being taken care of quickly but I had no way of knowing it because
the lookup order number function at their website never worked. It always showed no such order.
Though the order was actually being taken care and sent out, I had no feedback in email or at the website that my order actually existed except for the auto repondent email that said wait for an email showing tracking number. Two days later I still didnt get it but my camera arrived anyway !
So great service and prices but they have to get the order lookup , order status function going on their website. It sould show like Newegg steps.
Step 1 - received order (comments)
Step2 - order sent from warehouse
Step3 - sent order through UPS
Step 4 tracking number
That sort of thing.

"Worst company I have ever dealt with and I am involved with purchasing $50K worth of hardware a year. Their shopping cart was broken, but I wanted the items. They then told me over the phone they would charge me $10 extra for phone orders (are they out of their minds?). So after 15 minutes of verifying that the site was indeed broken they took a phone order. Mailed them a company check - they cashed it and lost the phone in order. 2 weeks to resolve the problem, screaming matches with their unprofessional customer service daily for that period. I offered to go to their warehouse (yeah right, it was a wholesalers warehouse) and pick up the items. They wouldnt give me a phone number to the place, but I went there anyway. Turns out the order number they gave me was BS because they didnt think I would actually go and pick it up. They promised me everyday that the order had shipped only to find out it was a lie. When I asked for a tracking number they said that they dont get the tracking numbers only there warehouse has them. After threatening a lawsuit they finally gave me tracking numbers. The hardware finally showed up after 3 1/2 weeks. In that time I had placed 4 more orders with online companies - all of which showed up before my hardware from Page Computers. It ended up costing my company thousands of dollars in consultant fees - because the consultants had already flown in and they couldnt do anythinguntil the hardware arrived. WORST COMPANY I HAV EVER DEALT WITH."

"I ordered a Netgear FVS318 (DSL router) from Page Computer. They confirmed the order via e-mail. That evening, I received another e-mail from them saying that when they went to pull my order, it was discovered that the item was out of stock. They also said "After receiving your order we researched availability from over 40 affiliated warehouses but unfortunately your desired product was not available." They went ahead and cancelled my order.
although I am disappointed that they couldn't fill the order, I think that their attempts to fill it, and the fact that they cancelled the order instead of holding on to it for an indefinite period of time shows that they are an excellent vendor.
