"I enjoy shopping at Palais Royal but for some reason the past couple of years this particular store - customer service is not so good. Only one person at checkout and there is usually a line. I've seen where people have walked out due to not wanting to wait in such a long line. The associates seem to go through the motions of trying to be nice. I'm disappointed because I know that this store has been better before. It's especially bad during the holidays when they should have more staff"

She used to work at the store close tome, which flooded and closed down. she immediately recognized me when I entered the store.I waited in line to be checked out by her because I knew I might be a little difficult, deciding how to use coupons and girt card....even though the person in front of mewas more difficult than me....complaining because shewanted something shipped to the store and didn't like the rules ..."

"When I got in line, there were 2 customers in front of me and the second customer had many items. A manager came to assist the cashier. I happened to ask the cashier if there were any other cashiers I could go to. The manager might have heard me, but I’m not sure. But the manager started complaining very loudly “everyone complains when they have to wait in a line. Do they wait in lines at Randall’s and do you hear them complain? No, but they always complain here!” She said it very loud for us all to hear. It was so unprofessional and very rude. In the meantime, the line continued to get longer and the lady in front of me was taking a very long time, price checking every item and making several transactions. The manager came up again and went to the other cash register. I happened to ask if she was opening that one and she rudely responded again saying, “no, and some other rude comment!” She then disappeared and we never saw her again. I waited over 20 min.and line was 7 people deep!"
