"Store was clean, staff nice - But the .98 price tag thing that Palais Royal does is misleading and should be changed. Simple fix....don't put the items ending in .98 on the sale rack and explain it on the couponds. This is the ONLY thing I talk bad about Palais Royal and everyone agrees with me. They have questioned it as well."

"It did not start off well, but it ended well. Our 1st associate was Noemi in the Makeup section. She was preoccupied with unboxing all of her Clinique offers. I purchased my lotion and toner and showed her my coupon for the free Clinique offer with a $28.00 or more purchase. It was July 4th so there was a Huge sale with 50% off of the Clearanced price on lots of items. There were sales signs everywhere and I also had a coupon for that, but did not show it to her because the signs were posted everywhere. My daughter and I also purchased swimwear specifically because it was 50% off the already clearanced price. I bought 2 tops for myself and 2 tops and 1 bottom for my daughter. We had figured in our head about what the cost should be and when she gave us the total it was a lot more than what we thought it should be. I paid for it with my Palais Royal card and we looked at the receipt and told her that she only gave us 40% off and it was not even 40% of the clearance price. She said that it is what it is and I said there are signs everywhere and posted on all of the swimwear rakes that say 50% off of the clearance price! I even told her we had a coupon and pulled it out of my purse. Then she replied that I did not show that to her before hand. I again said that there are signs everywhere!!! She said that she would go to customer service to check on it and then she just handed the receipt back to me and said that I would have to go to customer service and they would have to do it. She absolutely did not do her job and was off putting to say the least. I went to the 2nd associate, Bailey along with a manager and they had overheard a bit and I let them know what had happened. They COMPLETELY took care of us and DID THEIR JOB!!! Noemi has waited on me before in the Beauty dept. and she is never very helpful. 1st INCORRECT price $137.43, 2nd CORRECT price with Bailey $106.57. Huge difference in price. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE with BAILEY!!!!"
